Classic Bait and Switch I spoke and texted with their online sales consultant (Stan) for a brand new 2020 Acura RDX SH-AWD standard model and we agreed on an out-the-door pri I spoke and texted with their online sales consultant (Stan) for a brand new 2020 Acura RDX SH-AWD standard model and we agreed on an out-the-door price for the vehicle before we made the trip to visit the dealership. When my family arrived at the dealership, for the first hour at the dealership, they did not want to discuss price and only tried to sell us on the cars they have on the lot. After we test drove the car and finally ready purchase the vehicle (2 hrs has elapsed), we filled out all the paper work and showed them the price the online consultant quoted us, they said they CANNOT honor this price. They said the quote we were given includes an incentive we were not qualified for and in the text I explicitly confirmed that the quote DOES NOT include the incentive and Stan confirmed and said "Yes". Nonetheless they not budge and said this was already a loser deal for them and if they were to honor the quote, they would really be in the hole. I am totally ok with people making mistakes, we're all humans. I'm not even that upset at the drive to the dealership because it was relatively close. I'm upset that they never apologized and said the $1,500 difference in incentive is not a big deal. And WE SHOULD JUST PAY THE DIFFERENCE SO WE CAN BE DONE WITH THE BUYING PROCESS... because sometimes it's not about the money. They were right, it's not about the money, it''s about the principles and I would rather spend more money at a difference dealership then to do business with this dealership... and that's exactly what we did, we purchased a car from Paragon Acura later that day (for a better deal than what was offered from Bridgewater Acura) More
