Nicholas D – Just wanted to make sure everyone knew BOTH SIDES to your “Bad Review”. When our Dealership had purchased the VW GTI from where we had purchased it from, the Auction Listed it as an Autobahn. While you were sitting here in the dealership, we called up a VW Dealership down the road, who is independently owned, where an agent of the VW Dealership, had confirmed it was an Autobahn Edition as well. When adding the vehicle onto your Insurance Policy, your agent confirmed it was an Autobahn Edition. Bill Vince’s Bridgewater Acura is an Acura Dealership – there is no way for us to decode a VIN to a Volkswagen, especially if it wasn’t corrected or adjusted with the three other points of contact. Which you have faulted no blame. After you had further investigated on your own, you had suggested to be reimbursed for a value of $4,000 because it did not have Navigation and was not the Autobahn, but an SE instead. In lieu of the $4,000 difference – we offered and suggested a return of the vehicle, which you agreed to. The vehicle was misrepresented, the corrections were made with the listing. We made an immediate change online, and the data feed takes a day or so to update to third party sources. So us “finally updating our listing” didn’t happen after your return, it was in the process of its proper update time. We are not the typical sleezy car dealership where we could have told you the deal’s done, we never want to hear from you again. We didn’t have to take the car back, we wanted to because it was the right thing to do. In your opinion…“the appropriate and professional move” is for an apology. We didn’t force you to take a car home that day. If you had reservations about the model/trim – we could have taken a hold deposit to secure the parameters of the deal, until you found out for sure and were 100% comfortable moving forward with a vehicle purchase with us. Things could have been done differently and we are sorry that you had an overall bad experience because the trim of the vehicle you wanted was incorrect. Nicholas – you took time to blast us negatively on yelp, cars.com, google review platform because you want everyone to know how “Bad” we are and to warn people to stay away. We have 540 google reviews with a 4.6 / 5 rating. We have 1,117 cars.com reviews with a 4. 7 / 5 rating You have written 7 reviews in your google lifetime alone – 5 of 7 which are 1 star. - World VW – poor customer service, wanted to work with someone who understood your concerns and requests – vehicle was overpriced and wasn’t willing to consider your offer. - Sport Clips Haircuts – where they are known for NO APPOINTMENTS and $20 haircuts – they have a 1star review from you because you were skipped over - The Famous Napoli Pizza – you made a mistake on an order and had to call back – claim you had a rude staff member and you mention GrubHub would drop em as a business – if you placed the order w/grubhub, you would have had to called grubhub to fix the order mistake, not the restaurant directly. So how would that be the person that picked up the phone’s fault? - Dominos pizza – they delivered the wrong items, did they expect you to take the messed up order? Or ask you to cancel, or bring you the correct order or just refund the order? They must have given you an option. You chose not to address these issues while you were present, which would have allowed any of these businesses to address your bad experience and you could have found resolution to your satisfaction that would have provided a different perspective of how a business wishes to involve themselves when presented with a negative client experience. It says a lot about the type of person you are and your character. You’re looking to blame us for what happened just as you have with the other 1star reviews without accountability for what you could have done differently. Your review is 3 weeks after the return, you must have been thinking about this everyday since.

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my review. Reviews are meant to give a customer a voice. It's clear to me and as well as potential customers, Bill Vince's Bridgewater Acura is inconsiderate to their customer needs. On a daily basic, customers put trust into the businesses they shop at. Sometimes customers do have bad experiences - it happens. However, it's the business's obligation to rectify the issue as quick as they can - Bill Vince's Bridgewater Acura did not. Bill Vince's Bridgewater Acura had chances to resolve the issue before and after I returned the car . Unfortunately, they naturally blamed the unforeseen circumstance on me (the customer) during the returning process. Only issue I would have post-purchase is that when I filled out my credit application at the time I purchased the vehicle, I believed I was applying through Acura financing. I was not aware my application was being submitted to multiple outside banks for a loan. I subsequently have rec'd THREE rejection letters from major banks like TD Bank and PNC Bank explaining that an loan application was denied. I did have one accepted that day but was not aware of these other rejections and am concerned as to how this could affect my credit rating, which was 800+ when I walked in.
