I took my 2020 Honda Accord in for a routine wheel alignment in early April 2025. During the visit, the dealership conducted a “courtesy check” on the vehicle and presented me with a list of “necessar alignment in early April 2025. During the visit, the dealership conducted a “courtesy check” on the vehicle and presented me with a list of “necessary” maintenance items totaling $2,600. It was apparent that many of these “necessary” items were completely unwarranted for the car’s age and mileage—premature by approximately 25,000 miles. When I raised my concern with Charles, the service manager, he was unable to provide any explanation whatsoever. Additionally, the dealership “tested” my AC condenser without my request and informed me that it required replacement under an extended warranty issued by Honda for my vehicle’s year and model. Seeking a second opinion, I had the AC condenser inspected at another Honda dealership, which confirmed that the system was perfectly fine. This raises serious concerns about Bob Howard Honda’s practices, including potential warranty fraud. To date, Brett, the general manager, has not responded to the letter I sent detailing my complaints. I have since escalated the AC warranty issue by opening a case with American Honda Motor Company. Once we finally decided on the vehicle we loved we met with sales manager Sean, to do numbers which were fair and Sean was very upfront and transparent which we appreciated. Then off to finance where we were not pressured into buying all kinds of high priced unnecessary warranties. Just so you know we did purchase a warranty that was affordable and perfect for the amount of miles we drive a year. We have bought many cars over the years and we had one of the smoothest transactions at Bob Howard Honda! I would highly recommend them, in fact when we start looking for our son his first car we will be reaching out to Bob Howard Honda. More
Got it fixed, fairly quick too. Price was a little absurd in my opinion. Quoted $195 didn't mention anything else. Cashier wanted $236 and change.
