I didn’t get good service until I complained enough that I got the service manager, Chris Todd, and now I’m so over them that they’ve lost my business. I called to complain and the receptionist hung up on me twice. I constantly walk into service and get walked past by multiple workers without being greeted. I called to schedule an oil change and the girl said I didn’t need an appointment I could just walk right it. I went in 3 times for an oil change and left 3 times without an oil change because I have a busy schedule. They wouldn’t give me a rental car because they saved rental cars for “big stuff.” More

Dissatisfied with Service Dept Initially I scheduled an appointment to take my Chevrolet Equinox in to be inspected as well as to have the check engine light resolved. I scheduled t Initially I scheduled an appointment to take my Chevrolet Equinox in to be inspected as well as to have the check engine light resolved. I scheduled the appointment for the first appointment Tuesday morning. I dropped my cave off on Monday evening and spent 2 hours waiting for a rental and I was given a Chevrolet Silverado extended cab. My car was not looked at until Thursday. I have only had the vehicle, purchased used from Bob Johnson, for 1 year. I was initially quoted $922 to “fix everything”. Having had the car for only a year and spending the extra money to extend my warranty, I let the Service Advisor know that I thought this price was unacceptable, after another day had gone by, I was quoted $472+tax. I agreed, the Service Advisor had me pick up my car with a 10 day Inspection Sticker. I was advised to drive it to ensure the check engine light didn’t come back on and to bring it in and it would be a “quick in and out”. I drove from my work in Brockport all the way into Greece after work during rush hour traffic. I explained to the person at the counter that i was told that my car “just needed to be plugged in because the inspection was already done and only failed because of the check engine light and have a sticker put on”. He advised that there was 1 other car in front of mine being worked on. I sat in the waiting room for close to 2 hours with no update on my vehicle. Not only did I spend $500 to repair my vehicle, I also needed to put tires on it in December which was about $500 and I needed to fuel the rental vehicle I was given for a week. I spent $75-$100 in fuel for the rental truck. I likely will not be returning to Bob Johnson to service or purchase another vehicle. I am extremely disappointed in their inability to work within their scheduled appointment times and their lack of communication. Unfortunately, this was only the experience I had with the Service Department and doesn’t even begin to explain how awful the buying process was. More

No One Can Beat Their Customer Service! I transferred to Bob Johnson Chevy from another Rochester dealership because of Sam and Will! These two made this process so easy and they got me the I transferred to Bob Johnson Chevy from another Rochester dealership because of Sam and Will! These two made this process so easy and they got me the car that I wanted at a way more reasonable cost than the dealership I was dealing with prior to them. Although that particular dealership offered me great customer service, it simply boiled down to being able to do for me what I needed at that time. When I visited Sam, he went right into action and got me exactly what I wanted at the price point I needed. I went in on Saturday and was able to pick up my car on Tuesday ( was ready by Monday but couldn’t get back there until Tuesday). Although everyone at the Bob Johnson Chevy family is awesome and wonderful, to see these two, you will not be disappointed! Very professional, friendly and will do everything they can to get you in the car you are looking for. I would give them a 10 if I could! More
