My Dealership I came in for an oil change, tire rotation and I was experiencing some hesitation upon excelleration. I explained the problem to the service person I came in for an oil change, tire rotation and I was experiencing some hesitation upon excelleration. I explained the problem to the service person. My problem along with my other service issues were complete in about 90 minutes . As usual I was treated with professionalism and respect. I have leased cars from Bob Maxey for many years.. The sales personnel i Alvin Taylor is excellent I would recommend Bob Maxey for both it's sales and service. More
BEWARE OF BOB MAXEY LINCOLN!! BEWARE of BOB MAXEY Lincoln! They are SHADY!! I have an ext wrnty! I took my car in FOUR times to get the SAME issue w/ my trans fixed. The 1st time I BEWARE of BOB MAXEY Lincoln! They are SHADY!! I have an ext wrnty! I took my car in FOUR times to get the SAME issue w/ my trans fixed. The 1st time I paid $199 & they didn't fix it. They didn't charge the next 2 x's I turned it in (I drove off w/ it still screwed up) & 4th they FINALLY fig it out as it got SO bad it finally blew a code but they then demanded I pay $104 for the wrnty work again stating it was something different that was wrong even though it "acted" the exact same. Not!! So if the "wrnty charge" is $104 WHY did charge $199 the first time? He held my car hostage to get more out of me for the SAME problem?! The svc mgr, Phil, was a huge dick! Yelled at me when I questioned it & demanded the money! Also my seat is still broken that I've turned in before. PLUS...before I turned in my car I getting 18-20mpg. I didn't get the "$300 tune up" Phil said to get so after I got it back, BARELY gets 15mpg now! Gee that's not suspicious!! I have ZERO confidence/trust in their SVC dept! More

Questionable Went to view a CPO MKS back in March, weather was rainy, cold and windy so we were very serious about a purchase. When we got to the dealer the car we Went to view a CPO MKS back in March, weather was rainy, cold and windy so we were very serious about a purchase. When we got to the dealer the car we had found on their website was already sold. Eric told us he had another MKS that he was driving it was not cleaned up but if we wanted to drive it we could. We took it out for about 20 minutes and came back, we asked to see it in the light to which Eric and Dan gladly complied. I reviewed the exterior while my wife reviewed the interior. We discovered a scratch on the lower rt front fender to which they said they would "replace or re-paint". It appeared that we were destined for this car. The car was priced at $27,500 and Eric offered it to us for $26,500 because " we appeared to be serious buyers given the weather outside". When we asked if he car was "pre-certified" we were told it was. We told Eric and Dan that we were going to check out another dealership, Eric said if " if we took the car tonight he would now offer it at $25,000". We asked if he would honor that price and he said until 9:00 pm. We were told that the dealer we were going to was known for being "shady". Regardless we went only to return to Bob Maxxey and put a $200 deposit down to hold the vehicle while we worked on a check ( aka cash) for the purchase. We thought the deal was done and that we would have our CPO 2012 MKS, my wife discovered on Bob Maxxey's web site that this vehicle was offered as a used car for $26,500 so that $1000 reduction in price was not a "your a serious buyer.... Offer. We received a check for the purchase amount of of the vehicle a few days later and we had some questions and comments as we were going to overlook the used car price. We were set up with a finance person and we asked her about the issues of used car and now we wanted to know when the car was "Pre-certified", she informed us it was just done the day before.... We were told it was already done? At this point we were starting to question the integrity of this deal. We asked to see the 200 point checklist and noticed that the scrape on the lower right fender was not noted on the report. When I questioned this I was told that we don't always list everything because Ford will start asking a lot of questions. Well at this point we told our finance person that the deal was broken, she replied to us " what would it take to save the deal" and what did we want? I informed her that what would they do and perhaps we needed to speak with Mr. Maxxey himself to get some clarification on this deal. Two days went by and we only heard back from her that Mr. Maxxey was not available but he would be in contact with us the very next day. Day came and went and no call. Against my better judgement I was willing to see this deal through as we met with our finance person and Eric only to be told that "he" Eric did not think that this issue was something Mr. Maxxey needed to deal with because "they did nothing wrong", Eric would not admit to any misunderstandings, wrong doings or misinformation and said " it was nice doing business with you" and walked out of the office. At this point the deal was broken and I asked for the check back. The practices of this dealership during this episode are questionable and I would say " buyer beware". I will not purchase or recommend Bob Maxxey Lincoln to anyone interested in the "Lincoln" experience. We did make our purchase at another Lincoln dealership. More

Had the unfortunate experience of having to take my car here for service. Although the problem was fixed with my transmission I feel that I was taken for a ride on the final bill. The job was completed in here for service. Although the problem was fixed with my transmission I feel that I was taken for a ride on the final bill. The job was completed in just over 6 hours which can be validated by my phone records. At $99.95 an hour for labor it should have been between $600 to $700 for labor but I was charged for 12.8 hours of labor. As I questioned this I was told that the Ford book said they could charge the 12.8 hours of labor and I had authorized the job. I am not sure how Ford sets these rates but if the job is done in half the time then obviously they need to revisit their procedure for setting the labor rates. Maybe they are set for trainees learning the job procedures. I also had my engine check light illuminated after the transmission went out. I asked them about this and they said they didn't think it was related. I asked if they had run the codes and they mentioned it would be $106.95 to check it out. Really? These guys have the perfect roadmap to anyone's wallet that happens to end up there. It was just unfortunate that my car had to be disabled on the road and I didn't have any other options. I would not recommend having service done here unless you have plenty of disposable cash on hand. Hope they have a good time with the extra money they took from me for labor hours not performed! More
