Okay so let me just start off by saying that I'm 23 years old and this is my 5th car. Bob Mayberry has by far been the BEST experience I've had with a car dealership. Justin Michaud is AWESOME. He's very nice, personable, caring and I would recommended Justin to any and everyone. Justin went out of his way to do whatever he could to make me happy. After looking at three different Sonata's, I finally got the one I wanted. I can't thank Justin enough for all the hard work that he did. I also would like to thank Lourdes Tellez, she was super fast with the boring paperwork that follows, Lourdes is VERY nice and caring. I just can't THANK YOU ALL ENOUGH for all of your hard work helping me the way that you all have. I am definately a customer for life. I work in a body shop so I know cars more than most women do and we use their service department alot as well and I have to say Justin Hill is one of the best service advisor's I/We have delt with. Justin know's what he is doing and is always very helpful!! He Did not try to sell us just any car he worked hard to find us our dream car. Paul Moore worked quickly for us and made the process extremely easy. I have purchased many cars over the years and this one by far had the simplest transition. Even though we had to drive from Simpsonville, South Carolina to Monroe, North Carolina the ease of the purchase and incredible staff at Bob Mayberry Hyundai like Paul Moore made our trip worth every mile. I came to bob mayberry after calling multiple different locations asking for the best price. As soon as I pulled my car up there was a representative waiting and helped me all the way through. I had already chosen the car I wanted to buy but he still helped me choose a better one for a better deal! That means that the dealership really cares for the customers. He could have easily sold me the one I originally wanted and made more money for himself but he wanted to help the customer. This dealership is one I would recommend more than any others, they changed the way I look at car salesman. More

I'm also not your typical car buyer because I don't switch my car every 2-5 years. When I purchase a car it's for the long haul. I've had my previous car for ten years and I plan on having the one I just bought for that same quantity or longer. We have been looking at various cars at multiple dealerships for a couple weeks seriously, but have been filling out our excel chart with information on them for a couple months now. We had the KBB ratings, the Consumer Reports Ratings, MPG, Standard Features, Incentives, etc. on the chart and had moved into the test driving portion of our research last weekend. We have been doing roughly 2-3 types each weekend, deleting ones we didn't like, and adding our own observations on the ones we did like. We have only been going one day so as not to ruin the weekend (pushy sales people and my husband don't mix well). We had not originally had any intention of buying a car yesterday, in the coming weeks yes, but not yesterday, however the deal was too good to pass up and the experience was the best we've experienced thus far. Our experience first started at a different brand's dealership (who we found on this website with good reviews), but the sales person spent more time explaining why other cars weren't good, rather than explaining why his car was actually good (it also didn't drive as quiet or smooth as the Elantra did - just saying). So least to say when stopping at Bob Mayberry Hyundai we hadn't been having that great of a day in regards to sales people and were actually just stopping to check on a couple things the other dealership said about the Elantra (which were false). Justin Michaud changed the day completely. He was nice, personable, informative, not pushy at all, and helpful! We were originally looking at the Elantra GT, but were starting to look at the GLS instead because of future plans for a family, plus our dogs would mean we'd need more room than the GT could offer. We went for a test drive so we knew how both cars handled; Justin answered questions as we went and kept conversation flowing when not discussing the car (I only have so many questions that are not on my excel chart already answered). Mentally or logically speaking, the GLS was what we needed, but in my heart/emotionally I really liked the GT. Justin pulled each car side by side, left them both unlocked and left us alone to talk, discuss, and measure (I always have my fabric measuring tape in my purse so I put it to use); the most important part was that he literally left us alone, like went inside the building so he couldn't hear us, watch us, or have any hawk like tendencies that some other dealerships have where they say they'll leave you alone to discuss but are actually only about ten feet away and ready to swoop. He was willing to get us numbers on both cars; he helped verbalize the xxxxxxand con's for each style of car based on our lifestyle and future goals (this was during the portion where we went inside for the numbers, not while we were outside comparing). We then decided we were going to buy the GLS, but not "today" because I don't like to rush things. Justin really got us the best deal we could have asked for between our trade-in and the car to the point that we would have been foolish to have left (we were actually given a couple offers during our stay because Chris (the manager) came in to sweeten the deal); he also gave us lots of time to ponder. We were left alone to discuss, encouraged to contact whomever we liked for further opinions (I called my dad he's an accountant). We were not bothered for a good fifteen minutes when we asked for time when we were given the offer we accepted (we only needed eight to discuss it) and had to go tell them it was okay to come back (they were wiling to give us as much time as we needed). Least to say, we bought the car. We had everything down and in writing with all of our questions answered: incentives/rebates, APR financing, trade in value, etc. before we ever talked to the finance person (she was very nice, knowledgeable, and helpful as well (just FYI)). While we were in signing our papers, they were having our car detailed cleaned and washed. We were even given cleaning supplies to keep it looking fresh and clean without damaging the car (did you know it's bad to use dawn detergent on a car??? it is) and we can have free car washes any time we are by the dealership along with lots of other goodies (free tire plugs for a year, etc.). I have to say I wasn't loving the car buying process in North Carolina, but Bob Mayberry Hyundai really was an exceptional dealership compared to the others we went to in regards to the availability of style, color, packages, cleanliness, being personable, patient, value of the deal, etc. I'm very happy with my new car, which has lots of new things my previous car didn't have (power locks, cd player, blue tooth hands free phone capabilities, etc.), my monthly payments (which you can prepay on without penalty), and my overall experience.
