Not sure why/how, but the issue is due to someone elses fault. Not mine. So there is a defect somewhere behind the dash that is allowing a lot of water to come in and flood the floor of my Edge Sport. According to the service dept, it was going to cost over $400 to diagnose the problem...then they could tell me how much to fix. I cant afford that gamble. What if it was another $600 to fix. I guess I'll have to live with moldy/mildewy carpet until I get rid of the car. More
