I like the way the car handles and performs, and is the biggest reason I purchased it, but I am disappointed in the way the car is designed to force one to take their eyes off the road to make small adjustments to things like the fan speed via the “distraction” screen where a simple knob would be infinitely safer, and convenient. I realize most cars are being manufactured this way, but it seems to be a step backward. In this litigious age, it seems to be a huge liability for manufacturers. More

I worked with JR while considering a trade-in of my vehicle toward a new car on the lot. It was my first time shopping solo at a dealership, and JR was great. Before I start, I should mention that I have used the service department in the past and the work that I had done was done quickly. However, this time is a different story. Arrived at 9:00 am for a 9:1 service department in the past and the work that I had done was done quickly. However, this time is a different story. Arrived at 9:00 am for a 9:15 appointment and was checked in for service quickly. At the time of check in, I told the service advisor that I would be waiting for the car. The service that they were to perform was 60K mile service on a 2013 Volvo C70. I informed the service advisor that for this service I had already performed oil change and all filter changes. He told me that I had done the majority of the work and would only need minor servicing. After a 3 hour wait I finally decided that I had better check on the status of my car. Was informed that they had not started on the service! What the service advisor then told me floored me! He stated that the 9:15 am appointment was for me to see him and not for the service department to start on my car! I have never had a routine service for my Volvo take more than 1 to 2 hours. After 4 hours I again asked the service advisor the status of my car. He stated that he thought that the tech had started but had gone to lunch. Enough is enough! I decided to check the parking area and guess what, there was my car! Approached the service advisor and told him that I wanted keys!!! He said, " you did most of the work anyway." So after 4 hours of waiting for a service that should have taken 1 hour, I left with nothing being service on my car!!!! More
