BUYER BEWARE at Tomes Ford…I honestly believe this is the worst experience I have had in 45 years of buying cars. Jay, who started with us was, in a word, FANTASTIC. Once upper levels got involved…, in a wor worst experience I have had in 45 years of buying cars. Jay, who started with us was, in a word, FANTASTIC. Once upper levels got involved…, in a word? Liar. We RV, so we tow a lot. We were told there was an “$8000, top of the line airbag system” for towing. That was the deciding factor for us. However, I had some truck guys look at it after we got it home and it looks like it is a $200 system from Amazon? That was not even installed correctly? When I am accused of lying, I lose my mind trying to correct it. Evidently, Mike does not share the same concern that I do. It only took three phone calls before I got a call back from Mike, and all he said was they are trying to get back in touch with the original owner to see what it was? I then followed up with a manager, Daniel, who also did not share my concern about lying. He simply said that he tells his guys not to lie? It has been WELL over a month since we were lied to about the used vehicle and I have not heard anything back? And, evidently lying does not matter enough to Tomes Ford to ever follow up? Sadly, because we had been looking forward to working with Jay on our next vehicle, we will NEVER go back to Tomes Ford and I will discourage anyone from going to Tomes Ford. Simply because lying does not seem to bother them. So, who really knows what they are getting from them? I mean, honestly, what else is different with the truck I bought? After talking to several other people who had great experiences? I would recommend Holiday Ford in Whitesboro, Texas, I know that is where I am going next. More
