My mom came down from out of state to buy a 2022 Toyota Corolla from this dealership. She was told there would be no extra (out of pocket) fees because she was buying out of state, when that was obviously Corolla from this dealership. She was told there would be no extra (out of pocket) fees because she was buying out of state, when that was obviously a blatant lie because they have made her pay over $500 in fees (which she had to drive down here from South Carolina to pay). We went to the dealership to speak with them in person about the deception to make the sale and were told to leave (Supposedly by Bob Tyler himself) after never being rude or combative in any way. This is absolutely ridiculous; all she wanted was someone to acknowledge the fact that she was deceived to make the sale. I will be certain steer everyone I know and meet to Fort Walton Beach Toyota instead, as the way my mom has been treated by Bob Tyler is completely inexcusable. Had my 2008 Prius serviced at Bob Tyler Toyota. In the process of repairing an issue which required the removal of the dashboard, they broke a vent. They admitted to causing the damage but refused to repa process of repairing an issue which required the removal of the dashboard, they broke a vent. They admitted to causing the damage but refused to repair the damage unless I paid for the repairs. I was quoted approximately $300.00 to fix the damage their technician caused. Also expect surprise added fees at checkout! I went to Toyota expecting competent and responsible work performed by their technicians. And for them to make good any damage they caused in performing those repairs. The customerb is responsible for the Toyota technician's work?? Not in my world! The only reason I gave them a star is because it's the lowest rating I can give. The service advisor (Jessica Barron) was fine but didn't have any answers and got nowhere with the service manager on my behalf! More
