Bob Tyler Toyota was the first dealership I came to going south on hwy 29 just before entering car city. I asked my daughter to pull in there and I would begin my search for a new vehicle. She inquired about the reason for my visit and I replied beginning my search for an .SUV. she invited my 87 yr old Mom and daughter to wait in the comfort of the lobby while she assisted me. Sheila listened without interruption as I gave her everything from my needs to the color choice I woulld like. She said I can help you with that let's begin over here. At the end of our walk around the car lot she had diligently and kindly allowed me the time to decide that a Venza met my needs. During our conversations, I had expressed my budget thoughts for monthly payment amounts, so when he came back with the numbers on the new car, it was outside that range. Since he was aware of my budget restrictions, he had worked up another option on a 2012 model. This fell into that range and after looking at that car, we came to a deal. I was dreading buying a used truck because every time I have purchased a vehicle in the past there was always some kind of problem with what the dealer was to deliver. Not in this case. The truck had some cigarette burns in the carpet below the ashtray. The salesman said they could be repaired & I would never know the difference. I couldn't believe it when I picked it up. No burns. Our experience was a very good one, Mike Morgan was very thoughtful and helpful throughout the entire purchase. I came in not really knowing what I was looking for, but had a giant list of needs and i feel thoughtful and helpful throughout the entire purchase. Before the sale was mostly a good experience. Kubi was very upfront and stood behind what he said. During the sale Falicia was very nice. But that is where client service went out the window. Falicia called me back once very early on but never followed through with anything she said she would do to communicate what was going on with financing and I have left a phone message and an email that Kubi still hasn't returned. In the email I said that I wasn't getting a warm fuzzy from your company that would bring me back to you when I am ready to purchase again.... I am very big on CLIENT service but it is appears to me that it is a rare commodity in your company. More

He has a way of spreading his personality around to other employees till it becomes infectious and instead of it being another day at the office. On July 12th I found a used 2012 Prius V at an attractive price advertised on line by Bob Tyler Toyota. I made and appointment with a salesman , Larry, to see it the next day. When my wife and I arrived Larry told us he was working with another customer, but gave us the key so we could look at the vehicle. When he finally joined us he told us the advertised price was a mistake (?) but they would honor it if we wanted the car. He made it clear that what we saw was what we would get - no second key, no touch up paint, etc. The vehicle had been washed but not detailed (still had previous owners personal items behind the back seat). After a test drive my wife told Larry we wanted the car and I asked him to evaluate our trade in and write it up. After another very long wait he returned with an offer that was 2 to 3 thousand dollars under clean trade in for our car. I attempted to counter but the manager wouldn't budge, so I told Larry I would pay them the advertised price and sell my car myself. He got a bewildered look on his face and mumbled something like " you still want it?" He rushed off and, unlike his other long visits to the manager, he was back in about 30 seconds with Verne Hilt, the general manager. Verne introduced himself, noted that we had been there " for some time" (over three hours) and then said " that vehicle has been sold". He told us some story about two managers involved, blah blah blah, and said he wanted to make this right. He led us into his office and, in order to get us to leave without making a scene, fed us a too good to be true story about finding us another used vehicle or giving us a fantastic deal on a new vehicle he would get from another dealer. Of course we have never heard from him again. There may be another issue here besides dishonesty and greed. More
