I began looking online before I went in to Bob Tyler. I requested a quote on the vehicle I wanted and within minutes I was sent an awesome price on a New 2011 Camry. I thought to myself that there had to be a catch, but when I arrived at the dealer, the Camry I wanted was pulled up front. I presented the quick quote to my salesperson Clarence and was in and out of the dealership within 1 hour and 30 minutes. This was the best experience EVER at a car dealership! I will recommend Bob Tyler Toyota to all of my friends and family! More
Very poor experience, wasted our time. We agreed to purchase a Tundra, settled on a price, we were kept there until 10pm the same night doing paperwork to purchase only to receive a call the next day s purchase a Tundra, settled on a price, we were kept there until 10pm the same night doing paperwork to purchase only to receive a call the next day saying they “showed us the wrong vehicle” and that the one we wanted wasn’t going to be sold. All we received was lie after lie. I still gave them another chance to find me another Tundra but they failed with that also, the one they found me just happened to be $3500 more! We did not and would not purchase a vehicle there. I DO NOT RECOMMEND! More
We came in ready to buy a new truck with a good trade-in. We were given a good offer on the trade-in initially, however, the next day they denied ever saying they offered us that much. We told them we wanted a new Tundra and we told them the price we wanted to pay for it. To make a long story short, Bob Tyler's billboards around town are xxxxxxxxx. They wouldn't negotiate on the price of a 2011 Tundra, when I knew for a fact that we could find them cheaper elsewhere. We ended up purchasing our new Tundra 4X4 CrewMax TRD off-road package for $34,700 from 1,500 miles away. Bob Tyler wouldn't go below $38K for us. It's pretty sad when you have to purchase the exact same truck for thousands cheaper from a different state, it says a lot about their prices. Please do your research, Bob Tyler IS NOT the cheapest you can find. More
We came to the dealership to "just look" around for a truck. That's when we met Tony. He took his time with us, did not pressure us and answered the 100's of questions we had. Tony gave us a price that we could work with, introduced us to the Service Manager, the General Manager as well as Bob Tyler. We have never gone through such a delightful sales experience. We are new to Bob Tyler Toyota but we are now loyal customers. More
I took in my wife's 14 year old convertble that she loves for an electrical problem. Paul was di a really good job with the repair. Without asking for him, the service manager found me and he asked to make my problem right and he did exactly that. Everybody makes mistakes, but these folks realized it and made it right. If the car needs repair again, I will take it to Bob Tyler... no hesitation. More
We test drove a used car on a Saturday..contacted Bob Tyler on Monday to go over numbers. I put in credit application and made an appointment that same afternoon. We arrived to be told by Mr. Cobb that the car was sent to auction. He admitted that he failed to communicate with the dealership an d would attempt to call me the next morning if he coiuld get the car sent back.. We were extremely disappointed. I recieved a call the following morning letting me know they had the car sent back. I spoke with Ben Cobb numerous times asking him not to waste my time ledthat if the numbers were not managable to please let me know. He assured me that it was not a problem. We schedualed another appointment to arrive to be told that our salesman Ben had left for the day,,by this time we were ready to leave,,but gave the general manager a chance to help us. The general manager was nowhere near the money that was discussed, trade in value was totaly different than what was discussed and no attempt was made to make us happy, That was the most horrible car shopping experience I ever had. I would not recommend them because of poor customer service, lack of professionability, lack of communication, dishonesty, and the lack of customer satisfaction. More
the vehicle I bought was certified but I have taken it back for repairs more times than I have been to the gas station. Yes they have made most repairs with satisfactory results. the tundra when purchase back for repairs more times than I have been to the gas station. Yes they have made most repairs with satisfactory results. the tundra when purchased did not have a rumble when the transmission shifted into 4th or 5th gear but developed one that resonanted from the passenger side it was checked and was informed nothing wrong but if it gets worse bring it back, well it started to rumble throughout the whole cab area- returned to shop was informed nothing wrong with truck- test drive with service person and he noticed and felt rumble and he said he would check it out and maybe drop exalst to check truck. kept at shop 2 days and when truck was ready for pick-up no problem found was the answer. the exaslt was never taken apart to check for any problem and I was told that all v-6 tundras made the same low rpm rumble. I have friends with same truck that do not rumble and I also test drove another 06 tundra at another car lot it does not rumble, and remember that when I first got the truck it did not rumble.. I feel as though I got the run around.. and maybe should return truck. More
They were extremely courteous, they didnt pressure to do anything and we were allowed to just take our time. Tony was very informative and he was just a nice person to deal with.
