I was in search for a used Honda Pilot and decided to visit Bommarito Honda. They didn't have what I was looking for but Doug said he would keep an eye out for me. After a very bad morning with Frank Leta(O'Fallon, MO) where I was told(repeatedly) that they could get me the CRV that I wanted at the price quoted(by email), I had thoughts of purchasing a car, other th where I was told(repeatedly) that they could get me the CRV that I wanted at the price quoted(by email), I had thoughts of purchasing a car, other than a Honda. I expected to sign paperwork and be on my way. That was not the case at all-I walked out at 10:17 a.m., still not knowing if they could get me the the car, still not knowing what it would cost me!. I left Frank Leta, in tears, as I was there early(8:55 a.m.), wanting to go see my mother, who is on Hospice, as I had received a call from Hospice the night before and was anxious to see my mother for myself. I thought that Frank Leta may have changed(new location) since August 2005-I was wrong! Actually, this was my second bad experience with Frank Leta, as I had been promised a certain price on my 2005 Accord(over the telephone) and when I arrived at their dealership they said I could not have that price and the 1.9% financing(again, I had been told I could have the price and the financing over the telephone) but the story changed once I arrived at the dealership. I purchased my 2005 Accord from Stephen Vincel(Sue Doyle) in August, 2005 after leaving Frank Leta(St. Charles Rock Road, old location). Just goes to show-fancy showroom(O'Fallon, MO) does not change their tactics!!! Fortunately, I called Sue Doyle at Bommarito, and when called me back within an hour. She was so calming,assuring me that she would be able to get me the CRV that I wanted. She said she did not have it in stock, and checked her incoming shipment. Sure enough, the one I wanted would be shipped within the next week. I asked her if I needed to come to the dealership and sign papers. She said "No", I can take your deposit over the phone. What a relief, as I had just picked up my mother(who has Alzheimer's)from her Assisted Living facility. I cannot say enough about Sue's professionalism. She kept me informed when the car was out of production, called me on August 9 indicating that the car had arrived, when did I want to pick it up? I picked it up after work on August 9, 2010. All of the paperwork was ready, and at the price that had been quoted. The car was ready to go! If you like to sit around at a car dealership while they try to see if they can get you the car that you want(even though you've been told repeatedly that they can get it for you at a certain price, over the telephone), go to Frank Leta. Personally, I do not have the time or energy for it. If you want a dealership that is good for their word, can deliver the car that you want to you, at the price quoted, go to Bommarito Honda. I could not be happier-and recommend Sue Doyle and Bommarito Honda to anyone looking to get a Honda. More
