The reason for only an ok on the overall experience is that I had to wait well over an hour to start the paperwork for purchasing the car. Josh was not in that day and I had to work through his brother w that I had to wait well over an hour to start the paperwork for purchasing the car. Josh was not in that day and I had to work through his brother who was very busy with other people. I had to threaten to walk out of the showroom in order to get waited on by the business department. If Josh had been there this probably would not have happened. He was a very good salesman and I appreciate the time he took with us. I would highly recommend him to my friends and relatives. More
Fred was a very very VERY great salesman to work with. Honestly, I do not like buying cars and hate the haggle of the process but Fred was a great guy to work with. My wife and I left a competing Nissan dealership after having a less than pleasant experience and headed to Bommarito Nissan. It is possible that the salesman at the competing dealership ruined the exper having a less than pleasant experience and headed to Bommarito Nissan. On the other hand, it seemed that our salesman at Bommarito Nissan, Josh Sedivy, is what made for our good experience at Bommarito. He seemed very honest and straight with us. If I do not feel that I am being treated fairly and given the honesty I feel all people deserve in a buying situation, then I refuse to give my money to any establishment that operates that way. Thankfully, Josh Sedivy treated us fairly and made us feel comfortable throughout the car buying process. The showroom and offices were clean and nice which added to the good experience. I must note, however, that there was one step in the buying experience at Bommarito that was very unpleasant. That was meeting with the finance manager, Kyle Rankin. After being told how great and reliable Nissans are, he took a completely opposite approach (Yes, I know, he needs to sell his warranties) and proceeded to tell me that I NEED the warranty OR ELSE I will get stuck paying $7500 for a new CVT transmission if it goes out in a few years. He painted all the bad scenarios, to which I began wondering if Nissans were really as reliable as I've heard. I gave him a solid NO and listed all my reasons including "I already went way out of my price range to buy this Nissan. I am very happy with my purchase AND I have NEGATIVE dollars to put towards a warranty." He then wasted my time by trying the shameless sales tactic of "I'll be right back. I'm going to tell my manager that you declined." And wouldn't you know it, he came back with a better offer! Surely that can't be how honest and straight forward selling works...? Anyways, I repeated my strong NO as I was clearly sick of playing the game. Still he tried to sell me anything. More than a little annoyed, I finally conveyed to him that unless it was free, I would not be adding anything else to my purchase. So, in short, Josh Sedivy did a great job getting us in the Nissan we wanted at a price we were able to pay. We had an extremely pleasant and good buying experience up to the point of finalizing with the finance manager, Kyle Rankin. Unfortunately, Kyle came close to unraveling the great experience Josh had built up to that point. So, Thank You, Josh! You were so good that you helped us look past the other unpleasantness. I would buy from Josh again. More
