Not sure what takes 1 2/2 hours for an oil change an appointment. At end rep comes out and tells me about my vehicle (loudly) in front of everyone in the waiting area of the services my car needs. This is a poor car dealership with almost every aspect of it bringing it disrepute. The only reason I went to this dealership was get the vehicle I wanted without a lengthy trip. To begin; when negotiati it bringing it disrepute. The only reason I went to this dealership was get the vehicle I wanted without a lengthy trip. To begin; when negotiating the price the salesman deliberately tries to lie and hope the lie would go unnoticed. Specifically, making a deal on a “final, out the door price” and then having the salesman make that the sale price and tacking on the extras that dealerships do. Granted, the agreed upon price and the stated price was only different of $100, but I didn’t appreciate being lied to about it. Of course the salesman had the hula to try and make me feel like I was in the wrong. Moving on to finance. There’s the salesman how has a twenty four part warranty that he tries to sell that costs as much as your payment of the vehicle. I try to explain I’m not Interested. He can’t seem to take politeness and is more pushy, and even asks if I have a problem. When I am buying a product from the dealership. Two months after buying the vehicle, it breaks down. This I discover it is because of a part that was on recall from the manufacturer. Normal repair shops won’t touch my vehicle because of this. I take my vehicle back to Bommin to get it serviced. They try to tell me the part is not on recall and there wasn’t anything they could do (until I show them on Chevrolet’s website). They agree to fix it and provide me with a loaner vehicle. The one good thing they do. The person who I arranged the loaner car with was kind and great to work with. A full month and a half later after numerous follow ups, my vehicle is finally fixed. I go out to pick it up and was told that the reason for the delay was because they didn’t realize how many parts were needed to fix my car. I thought it was strange that the mechanics working for Chevrolet didn’t know how the engine works if it was unsure how to fix a 2018 Chevy Equinox. Upon picking up my car, there is new damage done to it. I had paint chipped and white scratches in multiple places. Of course I am repeatedly told that the damage is old. After some investigating with the man managing my car, we both looked at the pictures he took of it prior to dropping it off with no damage. The most noticeable damage is fixed after two days. While I realize everyone is human and have a great latitude of understanding for mistakes, the mistakes here seem to be more overt. I wish that the service people there would have been more cooperative with me instead of belittling me and ignoring my voice. Bommin Chevrolet could make many improvements to its customer service and sales if it wishes to garner good reviews. More
