Not happy! I had my transmission flushed as regular maintenance on my Colorado before an out of state road trip. Several days later I noticed oil spots on the back of my truck. I looked underneath and maintenance on my Colorado before an out of state road trip. Several days later I noticed oil spots on the back of my truck. I looked underneath and there were drops of oil visible underneath the truck. It was transmission fluid. The mechanic had left a critical gasket out when he did the flush. I was 700 miles from home and it was 2 days before Christmas. I was lucky to find a dealer 40 miles away that took me in on a “wait job”. $165 later I was back on the road and able to get home without transmission damage. It’s a good thing I noticed the oil leak before I started back home! More
