I came in to finance a new Chevrolet Trax for my mom who I came in to finance a new Chevrolet Trax for my mom who needed a car. I was trying to get a 2019 Chevrolet Trax LS, or 2019 Chevrolet Trax LT that t I came in to finance a new Chevrolet Trax for my mom who needed a car. I was trying to get a 2019 Chevrolet Trax LS, or 2019 Chevrolet Trax LT that they said they had in stock and should be there for me to test drive the next day. When I got to the dealership told me they had neither of them in stock and only had the 2020 Variants which were only a little more expensive. I was already a little upset about the 2019 variants not in stock after they said they would be, and then the 2020 model they present to us had 2000 miles on it already instead of the new "10 miles" that's listed online. My mom really wanted a car and we were there at the dealership for hours so I decided to just finance it since my mom wouldn't be driving that much anyway. Then when it came to financing it, the car turned out to be more expensive than the Online Price because they have hidden discounts that lower the car price. But these discounts don't qualify for everyone, I didn't qualify for there 3000$ discount because I don't have a car leased. But instead I got a 1000$ discount for owning a 2005 or newer car. Overall I am happy with the car despite not getting the exact one I wanted and paying quite a bit more than expected, I wasn't very happy with the process of the purchase and how long it took to make the purchase. If I had to redo the process I'd probably have left the dealership as soon as they told me the price was higher than the listing and went to a different Chevrolet Dealership. More
