My experience - Tricksters These guys love the game. From the manager "yelling" at the salesperson to bogus claims on financing. It is all bull, don't believe it. My experience These guys love the game. From the manager "yelling" at the salesperson to bogus claims on financing. It is all bull, don't believe it. My experience was not necessarily unpleasant, but it was far from satisfying. The sales staff have no reservations about getting in your face for intimidation purposes or leaving out important information on the vehicle you are interested in. My wife and I saw a great deal, we thought, on a truck. My car had 150K miles, but for a Honda that's barely broken in, however we are trying to start a family and wanted the safety and room of a truck. I called the dealership on Friday asking if they still had the truck I was interested in. I spoke with George and he was extremely nice. He told me it was still there and asked when I would be coming to pick it up. Since it is 90 miles away from my city (most cities) I told him we'd be there in the evening. He told me that a gentleman by the name of Dalton would be helping me since he had to leave. Okay, so after driving the distance we pulled into the only dealership we found in lovely Bonham. We went inside one of the many buildings on the lot and asked for Dalton. The receptionist gave us a cold welcome and acted like we were bothering her. But we finally got directions to their other dealership across town. So we drove through town and arrived at the dealership. We got out and Dalton met us. He pulled the truck around and boy was it pretty! We took it for a test drive and everything seemed great. Ready for the hard part? The negotiation. Okay so we all know you cannot trust used car salesman, right? That's why it is considered an insult to any marketing/sales person to be labelled a "used car salesman". Dalton asked me what I needed for my trade and I happily told him what I would be comfortable with. Of course he came back with a low ball offer, and a few "dealership fees". Pretty par for the course. I told him that it was unacceptable and politely asked him to go back and see what else he could do. This seemed to set him off. He leaned up in his chair, getting in my space, and in a raised voice started telling me everything that was wrong with my trade and how much they would need to fix in order to sell it. I do not intimidate easily, but I was a little shocked by the tactic. I still asked him to go back and see what he could do. I outlined what I wanted and in a purely used cars salesman tactic he had me initial my counter offer. He left us to go "beg" the sales manager, and my wife and I heard all this yelling and pleading coming from the managers office. We immediately start laughing. Seriously?!?! Anyway, he came back and I was comfortable with the deal so we moved things a long. The issue: Okay, so we drove a long distance and fell in love with the truck. Mistake 1. We also did not ask about the yellow sticker about the size of a "post it" note on the windshield, mistake 2. As we were finalizing everything we were made aware that the vehicle was a manufacturer buy back. What's that? This happens when someone doesn't like the car, can't afford the payments, or the car is a lemon and the manufacturer has to buy it back and fix the issues. You guessed it, we bought a buy back. My fault, right? Absolutely! Would I have gone through the drive and negotiations if I had known it was a buy back? Absolutely not! I am not saying they sold me a lemon, I'm saying they did not try to make me aware of this fact until after I made up my mind to buy it. Good for them! It is all about meeting sales numbers by the way. Who cares about return business? You decide who was at fault. Okay, so consumer dissidence being what it is, fine. Now, their finance people are just as tricky. We went there late Friday night so the finance guy was just getting us out the door. That's okay even though it still took 2 hours, Why? I have no idea but the couches were comfy and we had time to take a short nap, anyway I had financing from another source so once we were summoned we were in and out. I received a call today from Mike and had no idea who he was but apparently my loan wouldn't fund because the Credit Union I financed through is telling him they won't fund a manufacturer buy back! Oh no!! Don't worry little mouse, said the cat, everything will be okay. Mike promptly took my social security number and the rate at which I made the deal with my Credit Union. He said he would try to get the same rate and he knew he could get financing. Whew! I thought. My own personal savior! Well, okay it seemed a little fishy. I called my CU and they told me the loan funded and it was booked. They just needed Mike to fax over some documentation and the deal was done. What!?!?! You mean I just gave my social to have my credit ran for no reason? Fantastic. I called Mike back and told him what was needed and he promptly told me that he got me the same deal. It's cool, Mike, not interested in your shady deal. No need for legs being broken on account of a late payment. Conclusion: Okay so if you have made it this far you probably have formed your own opinions. Great! My advice is to not even make the trek to Bonham America and do your research. These people are highly motivated to sell you a car and financing while hiding anything they can until the deal is almost done. If this happens to you, please do not do what I did. Waste your time and theirs. When it comes down to it, you only have yourself to blame for getting bamboozled. Good luck! More

Worst service I have ever had I have always done my car deals via phone, so I am not waiting at the dealership hours and hours. I started off with one sales man that couldn't pull a credit app off of their website so he had me submit it 5 times. I texted him that evening to see if he finally received it and I got no response. I followed up with another text the next morning and still no response. I called the dealership he was off and had no courtesy to let me know or have someone pick up where he left off, so I speak to one of the rudest managers there that did not help me in any way. I had to speak to the general manager who finally got our app and submitted our credit. We went that evening test drove a couple cars, got a new sales man but for some reason I was pawned back on to the 1st one that can not communicate with his customers. We get to financing and the car I chose was sold to some else. The worst customer service and the worst communication I have ever seen. More
