I made appointment due to a warning light on the stop start on my Jeep gladiator. They ran a diagnostic and said I needed to replace the battery. The diagnostic cost was to me very high approximately $37 start on my Jeep gladiator. They ran a diagnostic and said I needed to replace the battery. The diagnostic cost was to me very high approximately $370. I didn’t understand why I had to pay for a diagnostic as that should be part of the service. I was told that was the fee by a technician to read and perform diagnostics. I found also that the start stop will not work if your main battery is not fully charged. I found that out on the second time into the dealership when the start stop was still not working the first time also will not work if it’s cold. Wish they had told me that when they installed the new battery. More
