As an update on my review, today (September 12, 2022) I had to return for my State Inspection Sticker and to retrieve a couple items. He called me to inform me that the new vehicle registration and insurance hadn't gone through yet and advised me to return to sales. Once I arrived, Kathy at the front desk helped to facilitate getting what was needed to proceed. John personally spoke with me to assure me that everything was all set and went as far as to share with me some possible good news. Jeff cheerfully greeted me and once again took good care of me while I was waiting. Because service is important to me and so lacking in many places, it is noteworthy to have such terrific staff on every level. You should all be proud and I specifically want to credit Will, Jeff and John with service that went beyond. Thank you all, once again! You are the best on every level. More

I would highly recommend Boston Volvo. This is the second time I have purchased a car with them and not my last. The finance manager John was also a pleasure to deal with. One of the most wonderful aspects of purchasing a car here was having Sophina Clough as our delivery coordinator. She spent over an hour with me going through the car and the electronics and showing me how to use everything. What an amazing touch to have this service. She even answered a couple of questions after I left the dealership and reached out to her. If you're planning a purchase, The folks at Boston Volvo are true professionals! More
WHAT A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I spoke with Andrew Childers on 03/18/222 at 9:15 regarding a Volvo XC40. I requested quotes for both a lease and finance option, we compare that car I spoke with Andrew Childers on 03/18/222 at 9:15 regarding a Volvo XC40. I requested quotes for both a lease and finance option, we compare that car with a new model (meaning 2022 model) he gave me both options and based on the monthly payments I thought the lease option with 12K per year was the best since the finance option was double the monthly payments. After we agree in the lease number he said around $394 per month he sent me the Application for credit and set up an appointment at 1:00pm. I filled the application up as he requested. I was on my way to Boston Volvo, literally pulling in to their parking lot when Andrew Childers text me and let me know that he made a mistake and he emailed me the new quote, when I open my email and saw the new quote I was extremely upset because the revise quote (due to his mistake) was double of what he said over phone ($394 over the phone, mistake/revise quote $617). He called to apologies which I did not pick up the phone and then another person called to apologies and I did not and will not accept their apologies, I understand we are human and made mistakes and will tolerate a decent error but this one was a Hugh one. Have not heard any solution from them or how they will planning on correcting the error without me having to pay the excess amount of money, in other word THEY DID NOT CARE!! I have read some of the reviews and how lucky those people were to have such a great experience, mine was disaster. DO NOT BUY AT A BOSTO VOLVO THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CLIENTS. JUST BE AWARE! When you are purchasing a newer Volvo as a current Volvo owner, you anticipate a level of Volvo service definitely NOT found here. First time at this dealership because they reached out online after "finding me a better deal" than Wellesley could offer. A comedy of errors ensured which stretched out for months with zero accountability from anyone in this dealership. Promises were not kept, numbers were lied about (emails and texts from salesman Ricari- who was terrible from the get go- were not honored due to his "inexperience?" Michael was the finance manager who was so rude and disrespectful we cannot believe Volvo tolerates a mean bully like him berating customers! for his errors and never once apologizing for his rudeness or owing us a refund and giving us the runaround on an expensive new car no less! Tried to work with sales manager Dave who dismissed us and never once responded to the horrible customer service practices, Sophia was nice to our face when she was brought in to "smooth things over" in the dealership but when the new car car wasn't ready for available or weeks!! she disappeared and left these customers vowing never to return to this dealership. More

This is my fourth Volvo at Boston Volvo, but this car buying experience was the best ever. The new team there made it super easy and enjoyable, and I didn’t have to go through any annoying haggling. Be wary of follow-through during the sales process. As I am writing this I am still owed over $500 they claimed I would be reimbursed for. During the sales process the sales manager attempted to upsell me on things another dealership had told me are not worth it and had explained there are better, more cost effective ways to do what I was asking. The reasons they were were trying to get me to unnecessarily spend upwards of $2K were not even accurate by laws of physics and basic math. The sales manager seemed annoyed that I didn't simply say "oh yes, please let me spend $2K for something that could be done for $250". I originally went to their other dealership in Danvers where I had the opposite experience, but unfortunately they did not have the exact car I was looking for, which is why I ended up at Boston Volvo. Avoid this branch. Go to another location. I could not be more unsatisfied at this point. More

I've been a customer for almost 20 years since I bought the first of five Volvo cars and wouldn't buy another car or have service done anywhere else. Whether it's a massive job, such as rebuilding my vintage Volvo, or purchasing a brand new vehicle, I have never found the slightest fault in anything this dealership's service department provides. Just last week I brought my car in for service. Adam Centauro was my service advisor and as always, was a model of professionalism and efficiency; he provides information with a pleasant manner as he clearly explains, in detail, what a car needs and why. It is refreshing to experience such respect for the customer's curiosity and ability to understand their vehicle. In addition, Boston Volvo never skips the extra step, they go over the whole car and if something else may need attention soon, they let you know so you can plan for upcoming repair or maintenance if need be. In this case, it was an exhaust support bracket that was worn and I was able to get it done before it could fail, saving me time, trouble, and expense. Everything they do is top notch, you can see how well the team works together and the respect they share for one another and their customers. They take pride in everything they do, and it shows. Truly a superb customer experience! More

Instead, he spent an entire afternoon helping me search for a different car and helping me work through what were priority features in the car. Once sold, he also followed up multiple times by text message and, when dropping off the car, he stayed for 20 mins to answer all my questions. Seek him out! More
