I have been a customer at Boston Volvo Village for years and just bought my fourth car from them; my family has purchased two new and two used cars from them, which have been exclusively serviced at the dea and just bought my fourth car from them; my family has purchased two new and two used cars from them, which have been exclusively serviced at the dealership, which has a large staff of mechanics and service reps, many of whom I've been seeing for over a decade. That continuity speaks well for the dealership, is very helpful, saves lots of time and adds to the friendly atmosphere. The staff is pleasant and relaxed at no cost to efficiency, rather, it turns dropping off one's car from a chore into a pleasant stop on the way to wherever I am going. BVV is large enough that they can also provide a loaner car during service visits if you let them know in advance, or, there is a courtesy shuttle on short notice that will bring you to and from the dealership from a couple of locations. My understanding is that this was the first Volvo dealership in the U.S., and it shows in a good way. I can't say enough about the quality of service and professionalism of the folks who work there. Mr. Kerry Trainor has been the sales associate for three of the four cars we have bought (our previous sales associate retired some years ago and was also excellent). Kerry is a pleasure to work with, smart, definitely a go-to kind of guy. As soon as I decided to trade-in my older car, and told him what I was looking for, he was on top of things and found what I wanted in very short order. He is very knowledgeable about all the ins and outs of buying a car, and the mechanical specifications of the different models as well. (I have bought XC70's and a C30, but test drove other models as well, and he was able to answer all of the detailed questions I asked.) I traded in my other car, and Mr. Armen Essayen displayed the same professionalism, efficiency, and agreeable manner in managing that aspect of the transaction for me. For this purchase, I decided to take out a car loan, and once more, the business manager, Ms. Marisa Sestito, was a pleasure to work with; I found her to be smart, likeable, trustworthy, and exceptionally knowledgeable. I got a great deal on a car loan, and spent a ton of time with her examining my options--really, that part of the purchase took the most time and she guided me through the process like a pro. I never felt rushed or pressured at all, nor have I ever been so comfortable and confident making such a major purchase. I have no connection to this dealership other than a genuine liking for the people who run it, and can testify to many years of excellent experience with them. I would call myself an informed consumer, and in my early Volvo days I did lots of comparison shopping with respect to buying and maintaining my cars, and never found any place that does a better job. In my opinion, based on extensive experience over time, BVV is the best for both sales, parts, and service and I give them my strongest possible recommendation. More

We saw the add for the 2009 Honda Civic EX-L which was a trade in for this Volvo Dealer. The price was significantly below book for the year and condition. We were able to negotiate a slightly better price which helped cover the sales tax. Very professional orgainization. Better experience than we have had at other dealerships. I visited Volvo Village because I was interested in trading in a 2004 Volvo V 70, which I had purchased from Boston Volvo Village, for a newer Volvo XC 70. Their 'web page' had vehicles that I wanted to look at. Russ Leong was the sales person that I worked with. I identified the cars that I was interested in and we discussed them. We focused on a 2010 XC 70. We took it for a test drisve and, at the right price, I said that I would buy it. Russ and I worked together until an agreement was reached. The back and forth was friednly and done with a smile. He understood my needs and was able to satisfy them. His knowledge, friendliness and enthusiasm certainly helped in reaching a 'deal.' We were able to fully talk about the car and talk about a lot of other things as well. Russ certainly put "Auto Sales' in an entirely new light. I would not only recommmend the dealership, but I would recommend that any potential customer seek out and work with Russ. More

MY visit to Boston Volvo Village today was for a routine service appointment. I was greeted immediately, and was asked if my car had any small details needing attention also. I mentioned that my windshield wiper motor was making a funny noise, and that I needed help with my bluetooth feature. Both items were quickly addressed and corrected to my satisfaction and beyond. I got a private bluetooth lesson and I know that took patience on their part! I was also assigned a loaner vehicle for the time of my entire visit. All staff was helpful, pleasant and highly competent. I could not be happier with my experience at Boston Volve Village, and recommend it to everyone in search of the very best. More
