The negotiation was the usual frustration of dealing with car dealers. First, the salesman is just a puppet of the sales manager so I understand that is who you are actually negotiating with. It was been fin car dealers. First, the salesman is just a puppet of the sales manager so I understand that is who you are actually negotiating with. It was been fine until we got down to the very end and the dealer was determined to screw the me out of a final $200. When you give them a final number which was fair and they have to push you to the very end I find that frustrating and disgusting. That is why I don’t have any respect for the dealers when buying a car. I don’t see why the sales manager couldn’t have come back and said that number was fine and acceptable and shake my hand and I would have been a happy customer. Unfortunately, that hasn’t happened in most of my car buying experiences. More
