Salesperson came through in the end Having done homework and with a bottom line to fit my financial circumstances, I arrived on a Wednesday afternoon to discuss the 2016 Fit I'd selected Having done homework and with a bottom line to fit my financial circumstances, I arrived on a Wednesday afternoon to discuss the 2016 Fit I'd selected. The usual, "this deal is only good today," was thrown at me, but I said, "No, I need to discuss this with my financial adviser." They let me drive the car home, a ploy to emotionally attach me to it. Hey, it's a car -- nothing magical about that particular one -- so I thought, at the least I'll enjoy the extra test drive. Next day, I had more information, went in with a counter offer: $18,700 including the economy maintenance package. "No way." But, you guessed it, off to a manager's office. Here's where the "fun" began. He spells out the maintenance package costs $3,600+ ! The finance fellow had not broken down the cost, and I stupidly interpreted the cost to be around $400. My mistake for assuming. Not gonna pay almost $4k for maintenance on a HONDA! Round and round this manager -- Richard/Richie-somebody -- went, trying to get me to sign on a $22,000 out-the-door price, of course including the $4k. Early in our conversation when I was countering some of his claims and vague statements, he barked at me, "If you keep interrupting me, we're going to get nowhere." Really? Then, the service manager attempted to impugn my financial adviser, his industry and his advice. "I've known him 10 years and you for 10 minutes." By this time, I knew I was not going to buy a car from this dealership. Long story short, this Richard-person had a contract drawn up where I'd have paid $25,000+ by the time all was said and done on a car clearly not worth that. I said, "I'm not happy, I don't feel good about the way this went, and I don't like the manager's slick-Willy bullying," or words to that effect. "Get keys to my car." After probably a total over two days of five or six hours, I walked out. My salesman -- who had looked slightly mortified when the manager was being so condescending -- followed me, offered the car for $18,700. That's all I wanted. I bought and love the car. I would not recommend this tortured, demeaning process to anyone, most especially if the manager I "worked with" is involved. (Added later: I want to make certain the salesperson is not blamed for my less than flattering review of the dealership. Lindon listened well, made me feel comfortable, and facilitated through the personnel maze, and -- in the end -- pretty much gave me what I had asked for all along. And I love the Honda Fit.) More

They lied to me about the car's past, lied to me about the interest rate I would be paying, and promised me a car manual that I still haven't received 3 months later. My salesman was Mike Brown. Scott has excellent customer service and is very knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to help me to drive the car I wanted. I had my keys in an hour. I needed extra things done in my car at that time he gave me a new loaner for three days. I bought a beautiful Lexus ES 350 and I love my new car. I recommend Braman Honda to everyone. Alex Acosta was my Sales Person and he was super. NO delays in accommodating all of my requests -- specific time to come in and test drive the car, trade in assistance, new car in perfect shape to drive off when my paperwork had been completed. Dont waste your time. This is my third visit to Braman Honda. First 2 visit's I left mad with no service done. This visit I had 3 coupons that stated they could not be stac This is my third visit to Braman Honda. First 2 visit's I left mad with no service done. This visit I had 3 coupons that stated they could not be stacked. Was told on phone that I would have to have the service done one at a time to use the 3 coupon's. I was willing to do so but when I went in I talked them into doing them all at same time. Oil change $21.95, all wheel alignment $50.00 and battery $99.95. Great coupons saved me like $100.00. Then service advisor said there was a labor charge for battery. I called earlier that week and was told the $99.95 price included install. So he honored that. I asked him before service was done that total price was $171.90 plus tax $10.31 so my bill would be close to &182.00. Received bill at $224.00 if I remember correctly. Questioned the bill and then he tosses in shop fee's making his original quote wrong. These sad attempts to milk another dollar out of a customer is so upsetting it makes you post reviews like this. I live on a fixed income so adding $35.00 on top of original quote is just bad business. So standing in line at cashier he tells me he feels like I beat him. This is not suppose to be a game of win or lose but that's how they look at it. So I got on same page as he was (trying to take advantage of the situation) and conversation quickly turned into a battle of right vs wrong. They want to play games I can accommodate them. After back and forth with his version of customer service and my ability to read between the xx my bill was lowered to $200.15. Still $12.00 over the quote we agreed to outside when we wrote up the service ticket. Seeing the ability to not get my original quoted price I gave in and paid the $200.15 just to get the xxxx out of there. After first 2 visits I had planned to never go back to this place but figured I could deal with ignorance for a few hours to take advantage of the coupons, xxxx that was hard to do. So I started talking pictures of the facility. The bathroom was sorta clean until you step into a stall. Old toilet paper with crap on it on the floor ( see pic) and toilet seat with urine on it. The big guy in the picture is their service manager. I was in that store for 4 hours and saw him in his office for most of that time until he had get up for some reason. I look at the reviews this store has on Yelp and can't figure out why this service manager José still has a job. 1.5 stars for 21 reviews. That is a F if you are being graded. I will say one thing nice. Gerson Santiago my service advisor was very professional and tried his best to do his job when surrounded by idiots and hands tied. He stepped up when everyone else had their heads up their butts. I don't hold him responsible for Honda's ignorance with no conception of customer service. He did his job best he could with me. I am a tough old bird that is tired of crappy customer service and car dealerships trying to milk every dime they can out of you. Except his beat me comment did make me mad. The battery I needed installed was not installed after they told me I needed a battery cable mine was corroded. Quoted me for cable around $71.00 they could not install the battery they were afraid they might break the cable when trying to uninstall the battery. Woke up next day bought a can of coca cola poured it on corroded cable scrubbed with wire brush and poof clean cable. Took old battery out and installed my new battery. I guess since I "beat" them this is what kind of service you get. Would have been nice if Jose the service manager would have actually been around with what looked like several service issues while I was there yet he sat in his office for 3 of the 4 hours I was there. Try to call service department and see for yourself. More
