I had a very busy day planned and car shopping was about 10th on my list. After hustling errands all morning I walked into Brandfon Honda expecting a long and extended process. I came in right at lunchtime, I'm sure Daniel was about ready for lunch himself. But he is a true salesman, he dropped what he was doing and immediately engaged me in a discussion about my car and what I was looking for in a new or used car. He was helpful, refreshingly honest and easy to talk to. He showed me several used cars, pointing out the features, benefits and the pros and cons of each model. He even took the time to help me look over each of the vehicles issues so I could make an accurate and informed decision. My experience with some sales people is that they try and hide faults or issues, creating a lot of disappointment when you get home and find out that your big new purchase is a dud. Daniel was honest and flexible when approaching my concerns, he came up with options to overcome all of my concerns. After spending time looking at some used models, I was walking past a couple of new models and saw one that had all the features I wanted. When I mentioned that to Daniel, once again, professional that he is, he didn't skip a beat. Within minutes I had a second proposal in front of me. After just a bit of work with Daniel and the Manager on the numbers, I needed a minute to compare the two cars and make a final decision. Daniel picked up on that without so much as a word from me, he brought me some refreshments and gave me some space to walk back and forth looking at both cars. I think I wore a path across the parking lot while making up my mind. In the end, it came down to security. While Daniel had pointed out all the benefits of the certified pre owned process(added warranty etc), he also mentioned that if you keep a car long term, then low miles are important. I have purchased two other new cars in the last 15 years and I still own them both. So this is a car that I will likely own for many years to come. It will also be my third and by far my nicest Honda(previously owned a prelude and an accord coupe). The thought of driving every mile on the odometer and knowing that I will have the great reliability longevity that Hondas are known for was the final straw. I bought a new 2011 Accord Sedan, Special Edition. After I finished with Daniel I spent some time with Rob Cottingham in the business office. He was great to work with and really up front about the options. In just a few minutes, we had sorted through the deal, added one extra item(vehicle finish) and wrote the whole thing up. I was very happy, sometimes the finance guy can seem like they are pushing options and sneaking things in on you. Rob was helpful, honest and easy to deal with. He was a salesman also and did a good job selling me the things that I wanted and listened to my concerns when I didn't want something. After that, Daniel went over the car with me and I was on my way. All in all a great experience. I would buy another car from Brandfon in a heartbeat and will be recommending them to family and friends. Thanks Daniel and Rob for an easy and comfortable sales experience. More
today I was in for a quick service, oil change only. I was in and out in 1 hour, and my service rep, Randy was efficient & friendly. Tom Peters (service adviser)was very pleasant to work with. He took the time to explain the estimate of the total cost associated with the maintenance for changing a timing belt on my Ridgeline and the i with. He also advised me aware of the current discounts that the dealer was advertising associated with this maintenance. The cost estimate for this maintenance was very close to the final cost. Two of the plastic screws that retain the plastic molding in the engine compartment was missing. Although, there are other fasteners retaining the molding this did not affect the retention of the molding. More

The service staff were quite expert in teasing out the nature of my extra concerns and very creative about finding inexpensive or, i other concerns. I had no sense that the service staff were trying to up-sell, only that they wanted to help me resolve my concerns in the most efficient and inexpensive way.
