He was knowledgeable of the particular CRV I was interested in, he was personable, super helpful and made this tedious ordeal fun. Outstanding Service, Lacking Internal Communication Everyone at Brandon Honda bent over backwards to ensure I was completely satisfied. Chris Hall was the reason for my return and purchase of our s Everyone at Brandon Honda bent over backwards to ensure I was completely satisfied. Chris Hall was the reason for my return and purchase of our son's Honda Civic. During our quest for a new car Chris was instrumental in our decision. His no pressure, full disclosure approach was a refreshing change. We unfortunately went a different route with our new car purchase however returned for our used car needs based off his service. Ervin took a page from the Chris Hall playbook. As with Chris, Ervin was upfront and straightforward with the car purchase process. He answered all the questions I had and provided me with all the answers up front. This made the purchase process entirely painless. Vaughn Heberlee was outstanding at finding me a better interest rate than even my credit union was able to provide. He explained. in detail, all the additional warranty and service options available and helped me to decide on the best coverage for the vehicle at the right price. The only downside to this whole process has been since I saw the car in good lighting. I bought the car at night based off of the internet photos. The car had severe lovebug damage to the front end as well additional "wear and tear" paint marks. It was not until it was parked under the lights (and after I signed the paperwork) that I noticed all the ugliness. I spoke with Ervin about it immediately and we decided that since I had to bring the car back the following day for some services (not at my expense) we would address them at that point. The following day I spoke with Ervin and Chris about the vehicles exterior condition. They in turn spoke with their "manager" and we came to an agreement that I would pay $150 and the three front offending panels would be repainted, the rust on the back hatch would be addressed and an overall touch would happen on the car. It went in for paint for 4 days. When I got it back, the body shop had touched up the front end but had not repainted the panels as agreed upon because there were still large scratches in the front 1/4 panel, the rust spot simply had touch up paint smeared over it and the remaining blemishes were still present. I addressed it with the service tech, Jake Davidson (who left the company days after talking to him) who in turn spoke with Grant Hocking (Quality Assurance Manager) and was assured that they would send it back in and have the issues resolved. Unfortunately, none of this was entered into the computer and when I went back to pick up the vehicle for the third time there were still blatant visual defects. This time I spoke with Tyler who in turn got Grant and we came to better understanding of what was expected and was assured, again, that it will be taken care of. The lack of record keeping/documentation in the computer system has had the car with the body shop for at least 12 of the last 15 days. Besides this one issue, which it would appear as though the Brandon Honda team is doing everything they can to make right, I am thoroughly satisfied. More
