Terrible Deal On A Used Car Before I arrived at the dealership I made it clear what price range SUV I was looking for. When I got there they only had one car to show me and it wa Before I arrived at the dealership I made it clear what price range SUV I was looking for. When I got there they only had one car to show me and it was about $10,000 higher than what I said I was looking for. I was offered 40% below what auto trader said my trade in was worth. After we agreed on a price, the contract came back about $3,000 over the agreed price. I was told the car I was buying sold for $45,000 new. The truth is they retailed for $29,000. I ended paying $27,000 for a three year old car with 42,000 miles, almost the same price it sold for new. I didn't realize what a terrible deal I got until I was home. I looked on Auto Trader today and I could have found the same model SUV, but two years newer and with one forth the miles at Auto Brandon for the same base price. Tampa Honda has one just like the one I bought for $7,447 less than I paid. I love the SUV I bought, but I certainly paid way too much for it and I could have found a much better deal just about anywhere else. This is my one and only purchase from Brandon Honda. More
