I would give zero stars if I could. I purchased a 2021 Kia Soul at Brandon Hyundai in August that is a complete & total lemon. A little over a month after purchasing the car it started s I purchased a 2021 Kia Soul at Brandon Hyundai in August that is a complete & total lemon. A little over a month after purchasing the car it started shutting down when I would come to a stop, leaving myself & my children stranded sitting in a dead car in the middle of traffic until it was ready to turn back on again. The engine was replaced, I was optimistic the worst was behind us. Four months later, the same issue occurred.. I had to get the engine replaced for a second time. Two months after the second engine replacement, the same issue occurred again. I went to the dealership to discuss what was happening & see what options there were, seeing as I put down $20,000 plus took out a car loan on a car that is not safe to drive & they could not have been less compassionate. I was told “We can do a trade in, but I wouldn’t recommend mentioning all those problems”. So right off the bat we’re off to a great start that they’re recommending I lie about the condition of the car they sold me in order to get a better trade in value. The salesman then tried to upsell me into buying a brand new car when I already told him that I had put all my money in to the car I had just purchased there less than a year ago. I was then told “Well, cars are a very bad investment. It really comes down to either having good or bad luck with them”. I was then told that I had no options unless I was willing to put more money down or increase my monthly payments. What’s even worse is knowing that if I did pay more money to get a different car there, they would have turned right around & sold the death trap I’m stuck with to some other unsuspecting fool. Shame on this money hungry business that cares nothing about what kind of product they are selling people. More
My car was there at 9:30. I did not get any communication calls regarding the status of the car. I called 3:50 PM could not get a hold of anyone for 10 for made. I got a phone call stating that my car is ready for pick up. Service needs to improve follow-up needs to be emphasized. More
