Harold De La Cruz customer service is second to none. I was in Tampa for a week visiting family. First time since COVID. I live out of state and was headed home at 4:30 AM the Saturday before Memorial Day. was in Tampa for a week visiting family. First time since COVID. I live out of state and was headed home at 4:30 AM the Saturday before Memorial Day. My engine light came on 40 miles into my drive home. I turned around and drove to the Brandon dealership. I waited in the dark for the service department to open. Mr. De La Cruz was the first to arrive. The service department was fully booked with scheduled appointments. Mr. De La Cruz was able to fit me in during a holiday weekend, so I could drive home. The problem was diagnosed and fixed within a few hours. Mr. De La Cruz even wrote a detailed report for my dealership in Georgia. I am so thankful to Mr. De La Cruz and the service department at Brandon Hyundai. Customer Service A+ Thank you, Melody More
Brought my 2017 Santa Fe in for transmission slipping. Was told that it was the transmission fluid that was gunked up and wasn't throwing any codes for the transmission. Did a complete flush and 12 new quarts of fluid. 2 days later it was slipping again. We've called 4 times to talk to the service manager and each time he wasn't in. They took our name and number each time and said he'd call back. It's been 2 weeks and we haven't heard anything. This is the 2nd time we've had a poor experience with this location. The first time was 2yrs ago so we gave it another try. Obviously nothing has changed. Kyle, the original service tech that we saw when we brought it in, was nice and explained everything and kept us in the loop while they had my car. But the lack of call back from the manager is ridiculous. And being that we have called 4 times and each time he "hasnt been in" is frustrating. More
By far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a car dealership. The first car I agreed to a price on the phone with a manager and called again on my way to confirm, but when I got there I had to wait o dealership. The first car I agreed to a price on the phone with a manager and called again on my way to confirm, but when I got there I had to wait over 45 minutes for them to try and find it on the lot only to be told it was previously sold. The next day they found a car at another dealer and said if I come sign for it they can get it within 48 hrs. I signed for it, financed the loan and then 3 days later they get the car but it is not the same car/vin#/color that I am legally registered to and have a loan for! A manager told me the delivery driver assumed I wouldn’t like the car I bought so he picked up a different car from the other dealer instead? Absolutely unacceptable way to run a business. More
