Engine recall ignored Widely reported that Hyundai Santa Fe Sport has a defective engine. an independent auto repair shop diagnosed a non working cylinder. Hyundai's answer was a new fuel injector followed by a 4000 mile oil consumption test. this was my daughter's vehicle. totally unsafe to drive, but it if one person dies from an accident that would be considered an Acceptable Loss of Life (ALoL). Check engine light was on and due for oil change VCM motor stuck ? Replaced Motor ASSY-VCM . Changed oil and filter . Vehicle inspection says Brake fluid is in the red ! Just had front brakes rep VCM motor stuck ? Replaced Motor ASSY-VCM . Changed oil and filter . Vehicle inspection says Brake fluid is in the red ! Just had front brakes replaced on 1/3/20. No mention of brake fluid then ! I always feel at a loss in how these service needs are added on as I leave. If I got new brakes why didn't the fluid go with that ? More
