He made me feel very at ease and didn't use any pressure to try to sell me. When I returned with my husband Edward assisted us with test drive and paperwork while John finished up with another customer and he was also friendly and knowledgeable . Now my only complaint is all dealerships add addendums, and Brandon Hyundai adds addendum to MSRP on first line of invoice instead of itemizing so first line doesn't match window sticker price even though bottom line ends up the same, it is just confusing and I'm sure it has to be explained to all buyers. We decided on Santa Fe Sel and have only had it one day but we are very happy with all of the included safety features that Hyundai offers and with the prompt and courteous service we received from everyone we came in contact with at Brandon Hyundai unfortunately I didn't get all the names so I could mention them. Lack of attention Although I had an appt, I waited 4 hours for my oil change to be completed. Everytime I walked to the back to check on my car, the mechanics were literally not doing anything. I decided to walk around the lot as I wait, not 1 salesman approached me asking if I needed help and there were a few who walked right pass me and approached another person/family. Worst ever I dropped my car at 8 o’clock in the morning with an appointment. One phone call was made to me at 3:05, and I could not answer it because I was at a I dropped my car at 8 o’clock in the morning with an appointment. One phone call was made to me at 3:05, and I could not answer it because I was at a hospital. They leave you a message and tell you to call them back. Then when you call back they don’t answer for two days. Even though the call center will tell you that the dealership is open on Sunday, no one ever answers or returns the messages that are left. I finally had to call the dealership itself and ask for a manager there, to finally get a human being on the phone. She said she was the customer service supervisor, and she apologized, as had every single person I spoke to at the call center, and she said she would have my service advisor return my call. It was another hour and a half before I heard from him, we had about a 10 word conversation which could’ve happened two days prior if only I could have talled to someone on the phone. They did complete the two minor repairs on my car within an hour of our conversation. Yet they had my car for 72 hours. Thank God I was out of town and not in need of my car. However it was a stressful weekend due to a hospital visit, and The poor customer service I received at this dealership added another level of stress I did not need. I will never return to Brandon Hyundai. And I would warn everyone else against dealing with them. More
