My salesperson is reason for the sale! She was personable, professional & honest. Everything is great at this dealership until you sign the sales agreement. I overlooked the typical sales pitch from another sales guy & the sales manager & let them know I wasnt going in on their up price on this “special” package. I did really appreciate the time they allowed me to consider this sale & my down payment. But that is where it ends. After signing sales contract, a few days later I came in to provide down payment & my extra car key for my trade in- I was told by Trey- finance mgr, that all was good & he provided me with copies of my sales agreement & warranty. I asked if we were good/all set & he said yes. He quickly walked me out- kinda felt like I was bothering him. 3 days later & a week after I signed the sales agreement- I received a text- not a call, a text from Jeff Sapp the sales mgr, stating he wants my paycheck stubs. No explanation why he wants them, no apology for asking so late in day/game, etc. When I repied that I still havent received the 2nd car key & that I dont believe he needs the pay check stubs (remember I have already signed sales agreement & my down payment has been cashed) Jeff continued to text me over & over- once stating that I will get my 2nd car key when he gets my pay check stubs. I reminded him that I was the customer- again, never did I receive a sorry for inconvenience, mistake, etc— he kept blaming me saying that I said I would bring them in on that day of sale. The day of sale I was there til almost closing time & my salesperson said to bring everything- including pay check stubs when I bring in down payment. But explaining this to Jeff went nowhere. He continued to text me even after I asked him to stop. Again never apologizing & only blaming me for him not having these docs. I asked for his manager & he said he was the manager. I know he reports to someone but he refused to provide that persons name. After asking him to stop texting again- he stopped (plus it was closing time) Next day, I received many texts & calls from my salesperson & Trey. I explained it was a Saturday, I am with grandkids- not dealing with this now. Trey continued to text into the next week & even called on his personal cell phone. Last call I got from him, he stated that if he doesnt receive my pay check stubs by end of day, I will have to return the car. I did call him next day to discuss but was told it was his day off - I have not heard from him since. I did my research- sales contract was valid with no conditional sales agreement; which is against Texas law anyways. There was NO reason that dealership needed my paycheck stubs after contract was signed & downpayment was cashed. I even called Chase - the auto finance & was told I was fine. I have since received my docs from Chase. YET- I still dont have the 2nd key to my car & no apology or anything from this dealership!! After doing my research, I understand others have had issues with this dealership- wish I knew then what I do know now. But as long as you have Jeff Sapp running the used car part of this dealership- you will continue to get complaints like this!! Love my car; love my salesperson (even though I think she was told to be the scapegoat & I havent heard from her since) … I do plan to report this to BBB and social media. Where is my key & status of registration???? Doubt I will hear from these people. Very sad. More
