I contacted the dealership about a year ago because I received a recall letter in the mail. I spoke with Shawn Holden who told me over the phone that the letter didn't apply to my car even though the le received a recall letter in the mail. I spoke with Shawn Holden who told me over the phone that the letter didn't apply to my car even though the letter was addressed to me and had my VIN# on it. I told him that I had experienced the problems described in the letter but he still insisted that the recall didn't apply to my car even though he had never seen my car. He didn't ask for the VIN# and refused to book an appointment to check the car. He was extremely rude. It was a cliche "woman dealing with a mechanic scene" from the 1950's. I wrote a letter to the manager but never got a response. I recently purchased a new Toyota. I went to Bredemann to look at cars but had intended to buy elsewhere based on my experience. To my surprise, the sales person who helped us (Margaret) was very nice and very professional. I bought the car from her but I will not use Bredemann for service since I see that Shawn Holden is still there. Outdated attitudes about women are only entertaining on television. Sorry Mr Holden, you're not Jon Hamm! More
