This time around I researched dealerships in my area and decided to give Brewster Ford a try based on the favorable reviews from other customers. I had the serendipitous good fortune of meeting Brad Stans who quickly dispelled any apprehension I felt in dealing with a car salesman. Brad listened to me, he answered my many questions, he addressed my concerns, he responded promptly to my emails and most importantly he helped me find a great vehicle that I am extremely happy with. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Brad Stans. He possesses exceptional customer service skills which he executes with perfect integrity. Throughout the entire process I never had a moment of uneasiness or misgiving regarding Brad, the finance department or Brewster Ford in general. I was treated with the utmost respect and never felt pressured in any way. Completely absent from this dealership are those scammer type salespeople that are so evident at other dealerships. I have no reservations recommending Brewster Ford to anyone looking for a great car buying experience. My sincere gratitude to my salesman Brad Stans, Pete in the finance department and all the other good people at Brewster Ford. Danielle, the service MANAGER, is a xxxxx, hangs up on you when she actually picks up the phone. (Like previous customers here have touched on, they do NOT call you.) They have had my car for 2 1/2 weeks working on it. They have had my car for 3 weeks to work on it and make minimum to no contact with me. Three seperate occasions they scheduled oil changes where I made them aware I'd be waiting. The last time I was waiting 45 minutes until I went in and found they hadn't TOUCHED my car. The other two were similar. Whether they're overscheduling or just don't know what they're doing it's still wrong. I can't express the physical sickness I feel talking about this dealership. Do yourself a favor if you need to buy a Ford buy at Colonial or somewhere else because it's worse than a headache. Oh and by the way, people should know most of the nice ratings look like they're from employees. An their employees beg customers to write reviews, my sales rep left and told me. More

Transmission replacement, check pulsing brake pedal I have my '08 Explorer back today after 32 days in the shop at Brewster Ford for a transmission replacement and to have them check a pulsing brake ped I have my '08 Explorer back today after 32 days in the shop at Brewster Ford for a transmission replacement and to have them check a pulsing brake pedal. First off, they will not call you...if you want to know the status of the repair to your car, you have to call them....repeatedly. I received my truck back yesterday and immediately noticed that the brake pedal was pulsing just the same as it did when I dropped it off, in spite of the fact that I had to remind George in the service department to check them almost every time I called in to check on the repair status. I just had the truck out now, exactly 28 hours after picking it up, to find that the transmission oil is leaking and the transmission that they "just replaced" is slipping and banging into gear between 3rd and 4th. To top it off, the front lower valence on the truck was hit while on their lot and has damage. I will be in there Monday morning....can't wait to see what the chance is of getting a loaner out of this wannabe service shop. This dealership is an absolute joke and really has no business calling themselves "certified" in any way. Seems they're only certified in one thing...taking your money. Do yourself a favor and stay away. More

See Kevin Panepinto if you want a good buying experience I live close NYC, but chose to buy a new car (PB Focust ST) from Brewster Ford because of Kevin Panepinto. A) patience and answered my questions B) he's a salesman, but understand not to be too pushy with dealer add ons like extended warranty, paint protection, etc. C) gets high marks for putting a detailed quote on paper, let me think about it without the pressure to put down a deposit right away, and no surprise changes at signing. Brewster is an easy train ride from NYC. Come for a pleasant small-town purchase experience. More

Unfortunately I was offered a ridiculously low quote on my trade in to start.. After some debate we did come to an agreement on trade in and price compensation for the vehicle I was purchasing that suited us both. Over the next few days it was not easy to get a hold of the sales rep I was dealing with in fact I was never kept up to date on statues of the purchase and I had to call several times. And to top it off after I left with car, two days later I was pulled over for having my brake lights out on a car I had just purchased! Mind you this car had just received a new inspection from Brewster Ford prior to the purchase.meaning I doubt they even looked over the car as brake lights are not only essential to passing a vehicle inspection but to even sell a car that is considered safe. Needless to say I'm glad I got the car and at a decent price but im not happy with the hassle I have to deal with traveling back to the dealership to get it properly fixed as this shouldn't even be an issue to begin with. More

Never agian Brought car in that I had purchased from dealership because they inspected it with non-working brake lights.
