An Ode to Mike of Hoskins Ford Having dealt with 2 ford dealers prior to walking through the doors of Hoskins, I have to say that my previous experiences were good, enough so, that Having dealt with 2 ford dealers prior to walking through the doors of Hoskins, I have to say that my previous experiences were good, enough so, that I considered returning to either dealer. I saw a few vehicles I was interested in and reached out to them and eventually to Hoskins. Mike was beyond professional, accommodating, friendly, and speedy with any correspondence (he answered all 1000 of my annoying questions). Best of all, never pushy! My husband and I traveled the 30+ miles to do business with Mike on a Tuesday night, we traded in 2 cars and drove off the lot with our new Focus Titanium in less than 2 hours. So, to all those who are questioning making the trip to Hoskins for a new vehicle, the answer is "yes, you should go." Mike, thanks again! A&J Zig More
Poor Management with the Service Department We bought a used truck and once we got it home we inspected the truck closer and there was 4 things wrong with it!!! TOO MANY! Those things should have been taken care of before being put on the lot. However I still thought the dealership was ok until we took it to them to get it fixed. We made an appointment and it took over a week until we got the truck back. We kept calling and they would say tomorrow and it was not done then they would say the next day, still not done. This went on for 8 days. The service manager never said sorry just kept making excuses. We were so angry we decided to call the general manager and to my surprise he never even called back. Basically once you buy the car, the professionalism and care you receive is poor! More
won't be back I purchased an F150 here in 2010 and have had a solid 4 star experience between the vehicle and the buying process. I still own the truck. My company wants all service to be done at a dealership. My work schedule is very intense and it is very difficult to not only be without the F250 for a day but to also coordinate dropping it off and picking it up. I made my appointment 2 weeks ago to look at the transmission and was very clear to Kevin Trost over the phone that I understood parts and availability and I understood that the entire repair may not be possible in one day. I also let him know of my work situation and that I could not leave the truck more than one day. I requested that the problem be diagnosed the day of my appt and if necessary I would make another appointment for repairs once the parts came in. 2 weeks later I take the truck in the night before the appt and reiterated to Kevin what we had talked about when I scheduled the appt and that I needed the truck for Friday. He understood and said no problem. The day of the appointment I waited around until 5 with no word from Kevin. When I called for an update he told me they were just getting ready to look at it and they would have to keep it through the day tomorrow. I told him that didn't work for me and that I would be there to pick it up shortly. In the mean time I scheduled another appointment with a different dealership. This may seem like a minor issue, but I had this appointment for 2 weeks and clearly stated how they needed to accommodate me which I didn't think was an outrageous request. They do not consider customers schedules and have no regard towards inconveniencing anyone. I am in a very similar industry to the automotive industry. I am in outside sales and deal with a shop and service and parts with a $2bil/year manufacturer. I know that my company would NEVER treat a customer this way. I go above and beyond for my customers every day and know that I do everything in my power to keep them happy. To be treated like this is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, once I addressed my discontent with Kevin when I picked my truck up there was no apology. I am not done with Ford, but I will not go back to Brian Hoskins for anything after this. Luckily in this area there are quite a few different Ford dealerships that I have the option of dealing with. More
