LIES and DECEIT. I was told a new 2020 Ford Escape LIES and DECEIT. I was told a new 2020 Ford Escape Titanium VIN #1FMCU9J9XLUA34135 was discounted by almost 10K from the MSRP of 39K since it sat LIES and DECEIT. I was told a new 2020 Ford Escape Titanium VIN #1FMCU9J9XLUA34135 was discounted by almost 10K from the MSRP of 39K since it sat on their lot for over 10 months and that since it was almost the end of September 2020, they believed in aggressive pricing. This all sounds believable right? I sure thought so, until the ugly truth came out after all the paperwork was signed and I was ready to take posssesion of the vehicle. Turns out this was a “damaged discount” vehicle and they tried to sneak in a buyers acknowledgment form for me to sign along with the many other forms required as part of any sale. The finance manager initally stated that it did not need to be signed, since the vehicle was not damaged. He later came back and stated, it needed to be signed if I wanted to drive the vehicle off the lot. When I questioned what type of damage the vehicle had, their deception continued. I was told, "Well, we don’t know if there was actually any damage but the vehicle was on the lot at the time that a storm hit and other cars were damaged". I asked for proof that there was no damage to the vehicle I was buying and guess what, they couldn’t provide any proof. Why would I need to sign an “as is” damage waiver if their was no damage? The simple answer is because there was damage and I challenged them on it and cancelled the deal and drove off in my would be trade in. Later that day, I gave them the opportunity to right their wrong and I asked for a comparable size discount on a comparable car and the answer was, oh yes of course, an extra $300.00 off any other car. This proved to me the car they were trying to push off on an unsuspecting buyer was in fact damaged and most likly part of an insurance claim. SHADY. My next step is to file an official complaint with the Colorado Attorney General’s office for DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICES. The CAG takes these types of claims seriously and are in place to help protect consumers from predatory businesses, like Brighton Ford. Note: The car was not advertised as damaged (I have a dated print out from their website) a few other cars were listed as "damage discount" and fully disclosed in the ad. When the Finance Manager asked the Sales Manager if their ad disclosed this information for the car I was buying. The sales manager was like uhh, hmm, mmm, well no. BUYER BEWARE AT BRIGHTON FORD. Sales man M.B. was good to work with, he was helpful and friendly and overall a good guy in my opinion. I gave him the benefit of the doubt that he didn’t know anything about the damage, but his manager sure enough did. There was no viable damage, so it must have been fixed up prior to being offered for sale. I assume it was hail damage, but again, they couldn't and wouldn't tell me. The sad thing is, I probably would have still bought the car if this information was fully disclosed from the beginning and with a little extra price negotiation in the end. I really didn’t appreciate been lied to, almost being taken advantage of and having 6.5 hours of my time wasted. Luckily, I had the intelligence to notice their deception and the courage to walk away. Im sure most of their rural Colorado customers wouldn’t. By the way, the Escape was removed from their website a few hours after I left on 9/19/20. I wonder why? Shame on you Brighton Ford and anyone that had full knowledge of this plan to rip off an unsuspecting customer that just wanted a good deal on a car. I did eventually purchase a Ford vehicle that day, from your competition. More

Already agreed on a price, sent them all my info, set up my carrier and wired the money. Come to find out they were showing the car to another buyer and sold it! Unacceptable and unfair to buyers. What a waste of time! This is the most unprofessional experience ever! During this process I was dealing with FRANK MALPICA & ASHOT MOURADIAN. I will NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone and I will be filing a complaint to BBB! More

Worst Service Ever Bringing my car to Brighton Ford was the worst service experience I've had. The service department doesn't answer the phone. I was transferred there Bringing my car to Brighton Ford was the worst service experience I've had. The service department doesn't answer the phone. I was transferred there numerous times by the receptionist only to be sent to voicemail or right back to the receptionist. They don't respond to messages. I sent text messages and voice messages. After waiting hours I had to initiate calls again to see when my vehicle would be ready after they had it nearly 2 days. They don't communicate with each other so nobody really knows what is going on. I waited 30 minutes for the courtesy shuttle to take me home when I dropped my vehicle off. When I inquired about this I was told "I thought he already dropped you off". The driver had been standing in the service bay right in front of the service desk the entire time! When I called to see when my vehicle would be ready (since they didn't bother to update me) they kept transferring me to Kelly who was my service adviser, but Kelly had gone home early. When I finally got someone who knew she had left I was told "Maybe another Service adviser is covering her today." Maybe?? Does anyone know what is going on there? Obviously not! Take your car somewhere else for service. This was terrible. More
Nothing but great thing's to say about Brighton ford. Had a major repair done on my mustang and it's riding better than ever. Kelly my service advisor kept me updated on the repair throughout the whole proce a major repair done on my mustang and it's riding better than ever. Kelly my service advisor kept me updated on the repair throughout the whole process and was very prompt to answer any questions i had. I would like to thank the service tech's for doing a great job on my vehicle. The vehicle loaner option makes the process smooth not having to worry about how you're going to get around. I would definitely recommend Brighton Ford for your vehicle repairs. More

Chris went above and beyond to get my car in tip-top shape! I made an appointment to get my car looked at for making a creaking sound when making tight turns, I also wanted an oil change and recall door latches I made an appointment to get my car looked at for making a creaking sound when making tight turns, I also wanted an oil change and recall door latches fixed. I arrived 8minutes late to my appointment and they were not upset ( I did call to let them know I would be a little late) took my car in right away and allowed me to make myself at home in the sales department lounge. I am taking online classes so I had homework to do and came with a cooler of snacks and drinks (not my first rodeo I am used to being stuck at the dealership for hours and I live in the mountains so I cannot get a ride home). After a few hours Chris called me to update me and after I told him I was in the lounge he came to talk in person. Chris let me know it was my rear deferential that was making the noises they assessed a clutch had burned out. The warranty coved it so they were moving forward. An hour or so later another issue arose. At this Chris explained they had to order the part but it was again covered. He worked it out to get me a loaner car so that I could go home while my car was being worked on for the next few days. This was Monday. He said hopefully the part would be there Wednesday. Wednesday afternoon Chris called to give me an update: they got the part but it was worse than anticipated. The entire rear deferential needed to be replaced and because it was a bigger job the warranty folks had to send out an inspector to be sure they would cover it. He said at this point Friday or Monday, but I could keep the loaner car until it was ready. Monday afternoon I texted their handy helpline that I needed my car for Tuesday by noon ( the next day) because we were headed out of town and I still had the loaner car. I called the next morning and what do you know they said that yes the would have my car ready by noon because that is when I had said I would need it. I was impressed. I arrived at 12:20 and my car was ready to go and they ran it through the car wash for me! Chris was very professional and pushed for me and my best interests. He kept me posted at every turn and even brought me to show me what was wrong with my car so I could understand better. I will ask to work with Chris every time now. More
