Service took a while and they could’ve been more clearer about what needed to be fixed. However, I can’t ignored the fact that they fixed they’re mistakes and got the job done correctly and even added an ex about what needed to be fixed. We will never go to this Honda service center again. It took three days for them to work on the axle recall. They had technicians call out of work, due to snow. I understand these things happen. However, w took three days for them to work on the axle recall. They had technicians call out of work, due to snow. I understand these things happen. However, we told the rep we needed the car back ASAP on day 1 of wait because I had to do an airport pickup for my elderly parents on day 2 of wait. II had to go retrieve my car after day 2 of waiting because they hadn’t even touched my car after promising it would be finished by noon. I was also going out of town on Day 3. The rep told me my ball joint was broken and needed to be replaced and I needed a wheel alignment. The service center didn’t have the parts. So, I went to another mechanic and he said 2 ball joints were broken as well as two control arms and I needed the wheel alignment . This car didn’t make those noises before they started working on the axIs. On day 2, I picked my parents up, and there were NO issues. I understand normal wear and tear and the need to replace these items. However I think when they put the new axle in they either broke the ball joints and control arms or made an existing problem worse. I drove the car for 10 minutes and thought I would get into an accident- the wheels made crunching sounds and whistling. I towed it to our family mechanic. I didn’t even call Honda service to report these issues because you cannot trust the techs or service reps. The guy who takes your keys is super nice, as well as the ladies in the back office. The service rep, Rick was rude and had a horrible attitude. He was polite, when talking to my husband, but spoke to me ( a female) in a pissed off voice, no empathy and was generally rude. My follow up questions were met with annoyance. Eventually, he gave me a diagram of parts that I needed. The manager was apologetic and understanding but I still waited 4 hours vs 2 hours for service, which was quoted to me. Also, the service reps should not guarantee that services will be completed at a certain time, if they cannot complete services in a timely manner. Also, my family to pay $$$ for Uber charges, while the car was in their shop, to go to/from for 3 days to their shop. Their location isn’t close to public transportation. They have no consideration for the financial strain this causes to families in these times. More
