"THE WORST"

- GHOST

This guy Cesar is the worst. No sense of customer service or professionalism. Promised a part delivery in two days claiming he would call me to let me know and set up a follow up appointment. After 4 days I called. The two girls who answer phones are equally as bad. They rush to put you on hold before you even finish your question. After 4 separate calls and being on hold for 20 minutes each time I decided to drive to dealership and handled it myself. I would like to point out Dan in service SAVED THE DAY. Total professional and showed that he cared. Sorry for the bad review but it is all justified.

"Lie about needed repairs and make up prices"

DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE FOR SERVICE. Saw negative reviews and thought I would keep an open mind and give them a chance. Brought my vehicle in on Wednesday 1.3.18 morning The car seemed loud while driving and a few other minor issues (heated seats, heat at feet and speakers) I wanted looked at. They called me around 4 to say they couldn't get to it. Fine. Thursday was s now storm, said they couldn't get to it. I said leave the vehicle I have no where to park it anyway and I still want it looked at. By Friday 2pm, the service consultant said she still didnt know what was wrong and was trying to reach my insurance. I said regardless I need my car and at 4pm I was told that I could come and get it. I was told I had a "cheap" front brake job. (Insulting since I own this 2014 Jeep Cherokee and bought it new) I have documentation that break pads and rotors were installed in 2016. Brooklyn jeep told me "front pads were put on and rotors not cut". "I needed front and rear brake pads and rotors and that they didnt look at anything else and they quoted me 1200 dollars. I called my father who told me to get the xxxx out of there and do not give them any money. He had his brake job done on a brand new ford explorer for 150 dollars. 1200 bucks anywhere in the US for a brake job is an insane amount of money. I could not get my vehicle unless I paid them 300 bucks becasue I signed some paper. Service dept. told me they didn't look at or check anything else I asked and admiitted so. I paid 300 buck for them to tell me I needed brakes? I was taken advantage becasue I was female and becasue I had vermont plates. Anyway, went to the jeep dealer where I live in Rutland. They told me I only needed rear pads and rotors and fixed the noise which was a support bearing and covered under my power train warranty. Leaving Brooklyn Chrysler Jeep Ram and getting work done somewhere else saved me 525 dollars. Do yourself a favor get honest work done at honest prices somewhere else.

"Transmission 2015 Dodge Durango "

I used this dealership a year ago to check my check engine light on my 2015 Durango they were quick prompt and professional so when my light went on this past December and my gear locked i took it to them again. At first things went smooth but then it took a bad turn. The young lady who helped me Carla was very patient and professional with me even thou I started to get a bit impatient. It was 2 weeks and no work was done on my truck she informed me that she was waiting for an approval from dodge to get the parts I thought she was not being truthful to be honest but after numerous calls to dodge myself it was them and not the dealership that was at fault. So Carla was AMAZING once everything cleared I got my truck back running better than new in less than 3 days. I would definitely return to them if I need work done and I'm sure my next purchase will be with them!!!!

All the staff are helpful and pleasant to speak to. My car was diagnosed and repaired in a short time. "bad experience"

The service department called to say my car repair was finished, after my arrival I had to wait 45 minutes to get my car. There was no customer waiting area and people were standing around confused as to what was happening . I had to ask the service manager 3 times where is the car? very bad experience . I never received an apology and will never go back.

"Poor service "

On May 9th, 2017 I picked up my vehicle from the service department at the "Brooklyn Dodge Jeep Chrysler and Ram" dealership located at 2286 Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn, N.Y. 11234. Our family vehicle had been in the shop for a month and was being serviced for an ongoing issue it has had since the vehicle was purchased. Immediately, after leaving the shop, the gas light came on so I stopped at the gas station to purchase fuel. When I opened the gas cap, I found SUGAR in the fuel tank filler tube. The filler tube was clogged with a large amount of fresh sugar. If I hadn't been paying close attention to what I was doing, I would have pumped fuel into the gas tank and the entire fuel system would have been contaminated. This would have included the fuel tank, the fuel pump, the fuel line and the injectors. This could have also caused damage to the spark plugs, valves, pistons and cylinder walls. This large amount of sugar in the system could have caused catastrophic damage to the engine. Immediately upon discovering this situation, I phoned the service department and informed the service rep that answered the phone about the incident with the sugar. I was put on hold twice and then told that it was too late to bring the truck back to the service department because the shop was closed. When I returned to the shop, it was still open and the managers were still there. After returning to the shop I opened the tank and showed the workers the sugar that was in the tank, and they immediately denied that the sugar was put in the tank at their shop. I proceeded to explain to them that the truck had been in their possession for one month -Apri17, 2017 through May 9, 2017. We were extremely upset about this incident and wanted to speak with one of the service department managers but none of them were available. I even asked if they could call one of the store managers that night, but was told they couldn't call them because they had already gone home for the evening and up to this date none of the managers returned our call to apologize for the incident. We are also unaware on whether or not the owner or district was informed of this incident. This whole experience left us feeling like we were mistreated as customers and we will be taking our business elsewhere. Thank Goodness we have pictures as proof!!!

"Great service under new ownership"

Since I heard this dealership was under new ownership and management I thought I'd give it a try. My cherokee was making a strange noise from time to time and no one had been able to pinpoint the cause previously. I decided to try one more shop before giving up on ever having it fixed. The staff was very pleasant and the mechanic actually fixed it!!! I was also impressed by the new manager because he overheard me explaining my frustration to the advisor and took the time to introduce himself to me and listen to my story. Great service all around and best of all.... no more noise.
