Very valuable Volkswagen repair service car owners I have a 2021 VW ID4 electric car. I bought it with 2500 miles and I took the car to the service more than six times. The car's electric motor was not makin a 2021 VW ID4 electric car. I bought it with 2500 miles and I took the car to the service more than six times. The car's electric motor was not making any noise at 56th Street Brooklyn. They replaced a part for $1600. We said okay, okay. A few days later another light came on. I went to Brooklyn Volkswagen again and they checked and said there was a small battery in the electric car. They said it was not working and replaced it three days later, the same light. The electric system was not working. It came on again at Brooklyn Volkswagen. I brought it in and they ran diagnostics, this time a high power battery. They said my car had 45,000 miles and they said they couldn't do it for me. They said they didn't have an electrical engineer and told me to go to Bayridge Volkswagen. I went and bought a Radovi first and went 10 days later. They said they couldn't do it for me. They said they went to Long Island Platinum Volkswagen. I called and made an appointment and went two weeks later. Okay, they looked at it and made a check and then charged me $259.00. I asked why they weren't changing the batteries. they told me your car has a TLC plate, the warranty is 50,000 miles, that's how many TLC plate cars have. did you see the miles on the car, why didn't you tell me? Platinum Volkswagen lied, but why 100,000 miles when buying a warranty? You say 8 years, I bought a warranty, I paid $2600.00 extra, is something like this possible, why didn't you tell me? I said I would put a TLC plate when buying the car. Brooklyn Volkswagen is hostile to me, since you don't understand, why did you change the small batteries in an electric car, they made me waste my time. Bayridge Volkswagen spoke honestly, named me. Platinum Volkswagen sent me, a nice mechanic, now I'm looking for a lawyer to help me, Volkswagen USA to file a lawsuit, thanks Ali kondakci 3322621439. I have diagnostics showing that the batteries were dead at 45,000 miles, they don't have technicians who understand electric cars. Brooklyn and Bay Ridge VW????? Don't buy an electric Volkswagen car. Brooklyn VW service was a terrible experience. I dropped my atlas sport off to have it repaired under warranty for faulty infotainment system. The part was ordered and I left my vehicle at VW overnight. I was told by text by a service tech esquiel that my car was ready the following day after the new part was put in. My wife took uber there to pick up the car but they changed their story last minute about how the part wasn't the right one or that it wasn't installed properly. They were speaking in riddles. We lost time and pay and to say they would give us a loaner vehicle however they didn't have one at their location!!. It took all day up until they told us to come there that the issue wasn't fixed. They wasted our time. Me and my wife both work and can't afford to work around their schedules. Time to move on to another VW dealer and see if they can rectify this issue. I will definitely be writing an extensive letter to corporate. With these type of business practices, I don’t forsee the manager or place sticking around much longer. More
I took my 2017 Mitsubishi outlander sports to have my Catalytic converter replaced after it got stolen. After I collect my vehicle I drove to PA my vehicle broke down on the highway I tow it to a dealers Catalytic converter replaced after it got stolen. After I collect my vehicle I drove to PA my vehicle broke down on the highway I tow it to a dealership I found they installed an aftermarket catalytic converter in my vehicle. I cost me $975 .00 to fix . I took the vehicle back to them they removed the aftermarket catalytic converter and replaced another after market converter. If you took your vehicle there for that reason check out your vehicle to see what they installed.. More

Very unwell people. I truly hope they get help for their dysfunctional repair shop. Had the worst experience of my life and have been in tears for a month of torture, li I truly hope they get help for their dysfunctional repair shop. Had the worst experience of my life and have been in tears for a month of torture, lies and horrific treatment. They have no care or concern for their customers and treat people like animals. Please do not go here. Warning. My friends and colleagues have done everything they can to help me remedy this. They even offered to go down there and speak to people. No one calls back and they play mind games…. Please please please don’t ever here. these are mentally ill individuals. Other volkswagen auto shops in the long island area helped me because they felt horrible and said they have never heard of anything like what i had been through. Have spent hundreds of dollars and rentals and ubers and they wouldn't help me.. they will not help you and don't care. All the reviews speak for themselves. The sales team in brooklyn said they “know all about it”. They are just as bad. Be very careful friends! Update: i towed my car to another VW shop and they ordered the “backordered” parts that this shop claimed took over a month in 3 days. They said it will be there by tuesday & i walked out with a loaner. They felt terrible and the manager of the auto shop tried calling brooklyn vw for me- no call back. It’s so sad how sick this place is. Not to mention, they put VW into a bad legal spot.. i offered to pay for the part myself and get reimbursed so i could get my vehicle back because i knew the part was in NJ ( where my current autoshop ordered the part from). Don’t ask me why they lie.. all they did was upset a customer & now create a serious problem for the corporation. That being said, I filed a complaint against the auto shop with corporate. My suggestion would to be pull your car out and see how it goes. They affected my health so much and i have now started the long process to hold them accountable. More

I dropped off my car 3 weeks ago today for a service repair. I was told it would take a bit of time to complete(about 2 weeks) due to the nature of the repair. That was fine, I understood that and agreed to It. Here we are 3 weeks later and I can't even get an update on my vehicle. I've called 5 times in the last 3 days to be told by the receptionist that their system had been down for the last 2 weeks and they don't have an update. Each time this poor lady had to be bear the brunt of a dissatisfied customer on the phone as she tried her best to get Mike the Mgr or Josue the service rep to talk to me. For some strange unacceptable reason they are both always busy and/or refuse to get on the phone( mind you, while I'm waiting on hold for roughly 15minutes). Only to be told someone would get back to me. How busy can you be that you can't return a call to a customer to give them an update? I must note this is my second time at this place and the experience is exactly the same. Same pattern two years ago. It certainly will be my last, lesson learned! I will never recommend this place to anyone for service. There communication is horrible and the Mgr Mike does not care. Dont just take my word for it, read the previous reviews. And I don't know those people. More
