Took my 2017. 5 mazda 6 Grand Touring to get service for faulty GPS told the whole part was on back order. I said wow this been on back order since 2020 here it is 2023..he stood there looking stupid over herd another customer ask for the same thing told them it would be a 2hr job. This was my 3rd visit for service. My first 2 visits were for 20k and 235k servicing, which includes oil change, tire rotation, brake check, and multi-point inspection. Both of these services were performed in 2022 and 2023. Both visits were great. They performed the work while I waited, and they had both services completed in the promised time. This last service was for a warranty repair, and they completed that service on-time as well. Compared to 2 other Mazda dealers that I have been to, I am extremely happy with Browning Mazda of Cerritos. They have done everything I have asked them to do in a timely manner, and at the pricing we agreed to before the service was performed. My Service Advisor Temo Hernandez was friendly, helpful, courteous, professional and awesome! The dealership and waiting areas are new, modern, clean and comfortable. These guys are doing everything right......I am duly impressed. I have been a car guy since a teen-ager, and have worked on cars all my life. I am also a Technician, so I know great engineering, great workmanship, and great service when I see it. Thank you Temo and Everyone at Browning Mazda of Cerritos! Keep up the good work, it shows! My car still new and one day my car start to broke down in few years with no sign on the engine and the car died in the middle of the road the that's why I took the car here it still under warranty and it should be covered. After having my car there for a month turned out the guy name Temo said the warranty is denied because the stupidest reason ever because of the part was not listed. Even though I have proved of every time I had my oil changing records.So they won't honor my warranty just like that and also said it's not his business, he didn't care if I want to fight it's going to be between me and Mazda like seriously? this is how you talk to customer? That left me speechless. Unfortunately this location especially the guy name Temo DO NOT come anywhere near the level of professionalism. We saw right through their bait and switched technique and walked out before wasting anymore time.total disappointment. I have been a Mazda owner for the last 5 years and have taken my Mazda for service exclusively. I had no prior issues, but this last december I had engine problems during a typical commute. When I had my c taken my Mazda for service exclusively. I had no prior issues, but this last december I had engine problems during a typical commute. When I had my car towed to Mazda they told me I had engine failure, but couldn't tell me the reason unless I pay them. This put me in a difficult position as an essential worker who needs my car, so I payed this price without having much of an option. The vehicle also showed no signs of warning on my dashboard during the time, I was still left with a sour taste in my mouth, because they would choose to take 0 responsibility and tried blaming everything on me regardless of their maintenance. Zero responsibility from the Mazda and a horrible experience. I will never buy another Mazda ever again and would never recommend one.Take your money somewhere else. More
Horrible experience. Sales people are rude and sarcastic and they always deceive people on every transaction made. Last year they tried selling me a used CX-9 for 19k and they wanted to charge me $800 a mon and they always deceive people on every transaction made. Last year they tried selling me a used CX-9 for 19k and they wanted to charge me $800 a month for 6 years. I went to another dealer and I got a brand new one the grand touring for 52k with a monthly of $600. How does that add up? To make matters worse, I got a coupon for a $50 oil change. I took my old Mazda for a service and I showed the guy the coupon and he said that the oil change was $49.95. The coupon didn’t have how much an oil change was but that I did have to pay taxes. I asked the guy if the only thing I needed to pay was taxes and he made fun of me “of course you have to pay taxes, you’d go to jail if you don’t” when they finished the guy said I owed $50. I asked how can that be? Than he told me the oil change was $100. I argued that he didn’t explain it right but by than it was too late because the service was already performed. When I walked to the car, they didn’t even wash it. Worse car dealership ever!!! I highly advice not to ever go there. I for one I’m never going back there!! More
