After searching for weeks for the right new (or used) Mazda I stumbled across this dealership online. They had far more cars in stock of the model I was looking for than other dealers in my area. The Mazda I stumbled across this dealership online. They had far more cars in stock of the model I was looking for than other dealers in my area. They also had "Internet" prices listed on their website that were several thousand lower than listed prices for comparable cars in my area. I lined up my financing over the phone before making the drive and once at the dealership everything went very smoothly and there were no surprises. Overall it was a very smooth buying experience, quick and friendly and I got a great car and for a better price than I likely could have haggled for at another dealership. More

It has been a constant battle with them to get simple warranty work done. The attitude of the service department is that somehow they are doing you a favor when they do warranty work. I would never purchase another Mazda or anything from them. Believe it or not but don't say you weren't warned. More

I just purchased a used Buick Century from them about 4 months ago. It is a nightmare car. I went in to this dealer b/c I received a coupon in the mail for $700 more for my trade. SCAM. I only got $200 months ago. It is a nightmare car. I went in to this dealer b/c I received a coupon in the mail for $700 more for my trade. SCAM. I only got $200. It took FOREVER to find me a car! I told the lady what I wanted and she kept showing me everything OPPOSITE of what I was looking for. When I did like something she showed me, for some reason or another they couldn't sell it to me? I felt like they pressured me into this Buick that I disliked. But it was low milage and since I drive far to work my boyfriend said I would be silly to pass it up. I wanted to think about it but the lady said she wouldn't let me leave the lot in the car I was driving now. My boyfriend was crabby b/c we had been at the dealer for 6 HOURS at that point. So, I just bought the Buick so I could get out of there as it was the only car that they were going to sell me. Not even 2 weeks after buying the car the battery went. I had to replace that and so I decided to check out KBB to see what it said my car was worth. I found out that I paid over DOUBLE what the car is worth! I totally feel bamboozled and like an idiot. I even cried in the saleroom trying to find me a loan b/c they said that they could only give me a loan that I had to pay on every 2 weeks which would cost me $367/mo on a car that is 10 years old!! Now, 4 months later I have the car in the shop for warranty repairs. Because they have to go in and lower the sub frame a lot of bushings and lines rusted out and crumbled apart so on a warranty repair I am out over $600 due to rusted parts that broke and needed to be replaced that the warranty company will not cover. Not only that there is a leaking strut that is going to cost me another $650 to repair. The repair shop did say that the strut was something the dealer should have caught, but I'm sure now that it's been 4 months they're going to tell me to take a hike. Never will I recommend this dealer to anyone, not even my worst enemy. They are scam artists. More
TO START THINGS OFF I AM A RETIRED HANDICAPPED POLICE OFFICER. I WAS PLANNING ON BUYING MY WIFE A NEW CASSIS PEARL TOYOTA AVALON FOR CHRISTMAS. SHE HAS BEEN DRIVING A 1993 CHEVOLET WHICH HAS FINALLY GIVE OFFICER. I WAS PLANNING ON BUYING MY WIFE A NEW CASSIS PEARL TOYOTA AVALON FOR CHRISTMAS. SHE HAS BEEN DRIVING A 1993 CHEVOLET WHICH HAS FINALLY GIVEN UP. THIS COLOR IS IN HIGH DEMAND AND THERE ARE NOT VERY MANY AVAILABLE. I LIVE IN THE CINCINNATI AREA SO I PURCHASED MY CAR THERE. THEY DID NOT HAVE THAT COLOR SO THEY HAD TO LOCATE ONE FOR ME.THEY LOCATED ONE AT BRUNSWICK AUTO MART OUTSIDE OF CLEVELAND,OH. I KNEW WHERE THEY HAD LOCATED IT SO I CALLED THERE REQUESTING A COPY OF THE WINDOW STCKER BE FAXED TO ME. I WANTED TO MAKE SURE IT HAD EVERYTHING ON IT THAT I HAD ORDERED. I TOLD THE SALESMAN PAT(?) THAT I JUST WANTED THE INFORMATION AND THAT WAS ALL. HE ASKED IF HE COULD CALL ME BACK AFTER MY WIFE GOT HOME FROM WORK ... I TOLD HIM THAT THERE WAS NO REASON AS I JUST WANTED TO SEE THE WINDOW STICKER. HE CALLED ME BACK AT 2:30 THAT AFTERNOON WANTING TO KNOW IF I WANTED TO BUY THE CAR OR NOT AS THERE WAS A DEALER WANTING IT. I TOLD HIM THAT I WAS NOT INTERESTED AND LET THAT DEALER HAVE IT. HE KEPT PUSING ME TO BUY THE CAR AND FINALLY I TOLD HIM AGAIN I WAS NOT INTERESTED AND DON'T CALL ME AGAIN.MY BROTHER IS DESEASED AND I AM IN PROCESS OF SELLIING HIS HOUSE IN FLORIDA. I WAS ON THE PHONE TALKING WITH THE REALTOR IN FLORIDA WHO WAS ADVISING ME THAT THERE HAD BEEN A BREAK IN AT HIS HOUSE AND WHAT KIND OF DAMAGE HAD OCCURED. DURING THIS CONVERSATION BRUNWICK CALLED AGAIN. AFTER I GOT OFF THE PHONE I CALLED THEM BACK TWICE ASKING TO SPEAK TO JEFF (WRONG NAME). LATER THE SALES MGR. CALLED ME TO FIND OUT WHAT I WANTED TO DO ABOUT BUYING THE CAR AND EVEN BROUGHT UP THAT I WOULDN'T ANSWER THE PHONE BECAUSE I KNEW IT WAS THEM. I TOLD HIM THAT I CALLED THEM BACK AS SOON AS I FINISHED MY CONVERSATION WITH MY REALTOR. I TOLD HIM OF THE EXPERIENCE WITH HIS SALESMAN AND THAT I JUST WANTED TO BE LEFT ALONE AND FOR THEM TO LET THE OTHER DEALERSHIP HAVE THE CAR. HE SAID HE KNEW THE CAR WAS FOR ME AND THAT IF I WANTED THE CAR I WOULD HAVE TO BUY IT FROM HIM AT HIS PRICE. THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE I BELITTLED MYSELF BY ALMOST BEGGING FOR THE CAR. HE PLAYED A GOD LIKE ATTITUDE TELLING ME THAT HE WOULD HAVE TO THINK ON IT AND THAT MAYBE HE WOULD SEND IT TO CINCINNATI OR MAYBE NOT. AGAIN I ASKED THAT HE SEND IT WITH THE SAME REPLY EXCEPT THIS TIME TELLING ME AGAIN IF I REALLY WANTED IT I WOULD HAVE TO BUY IT FROM HIM. IN MY 17 YEARS BEING A POLICE OFFICER I HAVE RAN INTO A LOT OF xxxxxxxx BUT THIS GUY TOPS THEM ALL. WITH AN ATTITUDE LIKE THIS I DON'T KNOW HOW THEY CAN STAY IN BUSINESS. IF MY DEALER IS UNABLE TO LOCATE WHAT I WANT I WILL HAVE THEM SPECIAL ORDER IT. THIS WILL TAKE ABOUT 4-8 WEEKS. I REALLY DON'T WANT TO HAVE TO WAIT THAT LONG BUT WOULLD RATHER WAIT THAN HAVE TO DEAL WITH THAT xxxxxxx. IF UNABLE TO GET THE CAR I WANT I WOULD EVEN CONSIDER CHANGING COLORS. THIS GUY REALLY MESSED UP OUR CHRISTMAS. THANK GOODNESS I BELIEVE IN "WHAT GOES AROUND ... COMES AROUND". I AM SURE AFTER HE READS THIS HE WILL KNOW WHO WROTE IT ... I SURE HOPE SO AGAIN I WOULD NEVER DEAL WITH THIS MAN IF HE WAS THE LAST TOYOTA DEALERSHIP... I WOULD BUY A DIFFERENT CAR MODEL. THANKS, D.S. FROM CINCINNATI More

I went to purchase a certified used Toyota from this dealer that I saw on the web. It was a 2006 Camry LE V6. It was to replace a 1998 Camry that I had for 11 years. The salesman greeted me as expect dealer that I saw on the web. It was a 2006 Camry LE V6. It was to replace a 1998 Camry that I had for 11 years. The salesman greeted me as expected, and I asked to see the particular used car that interested me. I told him, at least once, that this was my very first day of looking at cars and I would not be buying without shopping around. He got me the car, we drove it around, chatted a bit, and then came the high sales pressure. In a nutshell, he would not give me his card nor let me leave when I wanted to think about it. "What can we do to help you buy the car now?", and things like that. He worked up the final price, gave me the worksheet and I said once again I need to think about it...can I have your card? He ignored me again and countered with another tactic to sell the car right then. After I got upset at his antics, and visibly so, I just walked out while he was still talking to me. During that whole transaction, one thing was strange. The Carfax report he showed me said it was a 4-cylinder, but the Autotrader Toyota certified advertisement said it was a 6. Even his manager said it was a 6. Arthur stated that the Carfax report was incorrect - it was a 6. I got home and looked closer at the pictures of the car. Well, I don't know how I missed it, but it was indeed a 4-cylinder. No "V6" on the trunk and it was a 16-valve engine. So I'm glad I didn't buy it. But worse, I don't know if the sales person and manager were ignorant, or sheisters on purpose. Either is unforgivable. More
Jennifer was a pleasure to deal with and helped me get the car I wanted at a great price. I wasn't terribly pleased with the financing gentleman. When he first checked my credit he came out and said the car I wanted at a great price. I wasn't terribly pleased with the financing gentleman. When he first checked my credit he came out and said "congratulations, I'm confident I can get you a monthly payment in the $340s." That was great. I was happy but I of course prepared myself to end up in the 350s. Once the car was in and I went in and he started looking at the computer and saying "hmmm" and using his calculator I knew it wasn't going to be great. $340s turned into $410. Not what he told me and I reminded him of that. "Well, with your credit...." he said. We went back and forth and I ended up getting the car for $385 with the extended bumper to bumper warranty and the gap insurance which I'm sure is where they make their money as their prices are very low. One thing I found out since leaving the dealership is that Howard lied to me about the Platinum Coverage. He said it was a bumper-to-bumper warranty. I even asked him twice. "Yes, bumper-to-bumper" he said. That's not true. Here's a list of the things it does NOT cover: Accessory Drive Belts Batteries Body Panels Brake Linings, Pads and Shoes Bumpers Carpet Chrome Clutch Friction Disk and Pressure Plate Dash Cover and Pad Door Trim, Handles and Fabric Filters Fluids Glass (including Windshield) Headliner Heating Hoses, Lines and Tubes Hinges Hybrid System Main Relays Hybrid Vehicle Battery Hybrid Vehicle Battery Module/Pack Hoses Interior and Exterior Trim Moldings, including but not limited to, Cup Holders, Ashtrays, Covers, and Vents Lamps Light Bulbs Nuts, Bolts, Clips, Retainers and Fasteners Paint Rotors and Drums Rust and Corrosion Damage Seat Covers Service Plug Shiny Metals Spark Plugs Structural Framework and Wells Tires Vacuum Hoses, Lines and Tubes Weather Stripping Wheels and Rims Windshield Wiper Blades (Rubber Component)" I'm happy to have the car I wanted at a decent price but I'm sorry to say I wouldn't recommend Brunswick Auto Mart. They talked me into putting down $500.00 on a Liberty over the phone on my VISA. I was assured by Terry Dorsey that the money would be refunded if the sale didn't go thru. We changed our minds the next over the phone on my VISA. I was assured by Terry Dorsey that the money would be refunded if the sale didn't go thru. We changed our minds the next day and requested a refund. He is refusing and being very rude saying I must take the car. I did not sign any contracts and was mislead. I will pursue every avenue available to get my refund. DON"T GO HERE! They lie and use unethical sales tactics. BEWARE... TERRY DORSEY IS A LIAR AND A CROOK! More
