My experiences lead three family members into buying new cars from Brunswick Auto Mart. Numerous friends patronize this dealer for both new and used cars. This is the first time I have been disappointed in the service provided at the Brunswick Auto Mart Service Center. My Subaru has 215k miles and I was taking in on a trip to South Carolina, and due to its service provided at the Brunswick Auto Mart Service Center. My Subaru has 215k miles and I was taking in on a trip to South Carolina, and due to its age there was a lot of noise when driving which I believed was the muffler. I took it in and they did a safety check and $2,100 later after replacing the bearings and brakes the noise issue was fixed;. however during their safety inspection they found the frame had begun to rust but I was told, prior to authorizing the repair, that at this time it was not a safety concern. On the way home from South Carolina my dashboard lit up, but we made it home and I again took my car into the dealership to have it diagnosed. I'm now told that the rust on the frame makes the car unsafe to drive and it needs a new frame. If its unsafe to drive now 1 day after returning from South Carolina, it was unsafe to drive before I drove 1,300 miles to South Carolina putting myself and 3 friends at risk. I'm upset about the $2,100 I put into a car 7 days ago that I can no longer drive, but I'm horrified at the thought of what could have happened. Had I known it was unsafe to drive I could have used the $2,100 as a downpayment on a new car. Not at all happy about the entire situation and experience. As I mentioned, this is the first time I've disappointed with their service. I would still recommend them based on prior experiences, but this is definitely a first strike against them. They get one more. More

I was not happy at all with service this time. In the past I have been pleased with the gentlemen who've helped me by explaining the service and giving me a coupon. This time I was totally thrown by hearing I had to spend almost $400 on a car with only 30,000 mi. And asked more than once about the necessity of new filters, etc. the young woman was rude and insulting, just repeating "it's in the book you got" as if I would have looked up what a 30,000 check included before arriving. I've decided not to come back all the way to your dealership again as I believe I would get better advice in an auto shop near me. I feel I was ripped off. More
