The vehicle I purchased 2.5 weeks ago is still not ready and I have been without a car! They did not give me a rental and I have been shuffling around my extended family's vehicles in order to be able to simply pick up my son from preschool, plus have missed out a number of work opportunities because of this inconvenience. I have left multiple voicemails for the sales manager, because he does not pick up his phone, but he never calls back. My husband and I have received different stories from different salesmen about what is going on with the vehicle over the 2.5 weeks we've been waiting for it. The first story was that a sensor light was on in my 2020 Lincoln with 30k miles on it, then they couldn't override it, so they had to send it to a local Lincoln dealership, then the Lincoln dealership isn't servicing it in a timely manner, then they need to order a new part, then they the part is taking too long to come in, then the part didn't fix the sensor, but did it?, now they need the Lincoln dealership to install it, the Lincoln dealership isn't providing them with answers - it has been a circus act. I have asked to be compensated for the inconveniences they have caused me, they said there's nothing they can do. We paid full price for the vehicle and never even haggled them on the price whatsoever! Not to mention, the purchasing process was so disorganized and dysfunctional. We set an appointment up with someone for a Monday at 4 p.m., the salesman we set it up with wasn't there and no one knew of the appointment, they would not negotiate or provide any incentives on the purchase, so we agreed to pay full price. We also had already sold my previous vehicle and had a check for them right there and then. They only had one finance person working, who seemed to not know what he was doing, because we did not leave until 8 p.m. They actually locked the doors and closed the place up with my husband pacing around inside waiting for answers. My two toddlers, and I were left starving, waiting for hours, in my husband's truck. If you are in the market for a new vehicle, go elsewhere! They clearly throw vehicles on the sales floor that need servicing, if that is even true, and provide atrocious customer service. The most careless, disrespectful, mismanaged car dealership I have ever come across! More
They cheated me out of 1700 I paid towards my trade in that had not posted. They told me I would be credited the difference since it had not posted. From BRUSTOLON, we purchased a pre-owned black 2021 Chevy Silverado with a dealer provided no accident clean Carfax report. The only thing on report was a windshield replacement that was installed by BRUSTOLON a week before we made the purchase. The following day we took it back to the dealer after hearing excessive cab noise/horn like sounds thru the windshield at higher rates of speed. After inspection by the shop manager it was confirmed that the roof had been repaired as well as body work performed on both doors on drivers side(the work was so lousy/wavy they could not deny it, it looked nothing like the passenger side). At this point we wanted a second opinion, two GM certified shops provided repair estimates up to $12,000 stating the roof was likely crushed in and needed to be replaced because it was filled with bondo body filler and the seals around top of windshield/doors were not tight which was causing the horn like sounds in cab. They also stated that the new windshield installer was aware of the roof damage because the reveals varied and it's not flush at roof line. Recordings of these noises were played/sent to sales staff. At this point we did not feel the vehicle was safe to drive and simply asked for our money back(no hard feelings or bad reviews). They informed us that the state does not require any money back guarantees but they would make it right if we wanted to swap it out. They "made it right" on a trade in by offering us $5,000 less than we had just paid for the vehicle but also charging us $3,000 again in dealer fees, doc fees, RI State tax etc. Can you imagine, selling a damaged vehicle and then charging that same customer dealer fees again to trade it back in! Numerous emails/phone calls were made to manager Brendan Casey that were not returned, so consider that when you read his responses(make it right) to other negative reviews on this website. His voice mailbox is full and you can't leave any messages. BRUSTOLON sold a vehicle with obvious prior major body damage(poorly repaired) that likely compromised the safety of the passengers without taking any responsibility or being accountable. Not a single response from management/owner through all of this. It's all good(we didn't see it coming) until there is an issue like we experienced and then be out a lot of money. No making it right. If you want to take that chance, buy a vehicle at BRUSTOLON. Although we took a hit to the wallet on this, my main goal is for this message to save others from going through it. Go find one of the many other dealerships that work honestly and hard everyday in order to earn and deserve your business. BRUSTOLON does not deserve anyone's business. More
