I purchased a Honda Civic this week from Bryan Honda. Overall it was a good experience. The sales representative, Clifton Oates, was great. He was very courteous and helpful. He gets a five star rating from me. The reason Bryan Honda gets a four star rating instead of a five star rating is their sales manager. I did not get his name, it might have been Kevin McGirt. I did my homework before I went into the dealership and knew the trade-in value of my current car and the dealer invoice on the car I wanted to purchase. The sales manager tried to low ball the trade-in by over $4500 and also overstated the price of the new car I was trying to buy. This guy was unscrupulous and the dealership needs to get rid of him if they want to improve their image. He gets no stars and a thumbs down. The finance manager, Romie Hawthorne, was very efficient and professional. He talked me through the financing and explained everything. He also gets five stars. I am also pleased with the follow up after the sale. Clifton Oates has called me to ensure that I am pleased with the purchase and that I am not having any problems. I just recently purchased a 2008 keep grand Cherokee Laredo from Bryan Honda, and my over all experience was not what I had expected by any means. I worked with Taylor shackleford. He was very knowledgeable about vehicles and isn't in the business of pushing you into a purchase that isn't going to be in your best interest. He started of by introducing himself win a firm handshake and positive eye contact which is a lot harder to come by now a days than you would think. I had a very specific type of 4x4 SUV in mind and a specific price range in mind. The vehicle I chose happened to be a little more than I anticipated on spending, but when I realized the actual value of the fully loaded jeep I was sure that it was the right move for the safety and security I was looking to get for my wife. Bryan Honda is a great auto dealer is every aspect of the term great. They are extremely focused on providing the customer with a pleasant vehicle buying experience, all while keeping the prices of their vehicles within the lower end of 10% market value. All in all I will aim this up by saying that I intend on spreading positive word about not only the Bryan Honda dealership, but Taylor as well. Mr. Williams went over the features of the CR-V and even allowed me to go on a test drive to get the feel of the vehicle. This vehicle meets my needs as a USPS Rural Carrier with its room to pack packages in the back and the back seat has the room and mobility for my mail. Its a super vehicle for delivering mail each day for its a Top of the Line vehicle which will hold up to the riggers of the job. Mr. Williams also assisted me on securing a great price for my trade-in, allowing me to take that amount off the original price. As a added bonus, was given a Honda Sales Event discount and this made the price of the vehicle even more attractive. As a retired Army Non-Commissioned Officer I found the whole sales team, the finance department and the service and parts department highly professional. Recently afterward I had broken my drivers side mirror, the service advisors ordered me a new mirror and as soon as it came in the service department immediately notified me and replace the mirror in very little time. The Service and Parts department is a very well run organization with professional and friendly folks. As a added bonus too, Mr. Williams emails me with sales events, promotion and Honda information I need to know and this is why I recently recommended him to a friend to trade in their S-10 and for them to buy a CR-V as well.
