My husband and I main purpose of going to Bryan Honda was to look for a certified pre-owned Honda for our son as he is leaving for college in August and the trip is a 5 1/2 hour one way. As we looked, Shawn Walker helped us and was very positive, friendly and not overly aggressive, as that is a major turn off to my husband and I. While looking the Accords we very nice and as I put many miles on my Ford Fusion, we thought maybe the Honda Accord would actually benefit me. We know that Hondas are long lasting and have great mileage. So, we returned the following day and selected a certified pre-owned Honda Accord for me. Deja Brooks helped us do paperwork and she was very nice, friendly and had a great sense of humor. Although being at the dealership for 4 hours was long, we are very pleased with the vehicle. Rico Glover was extremely helpful with explaining the online purchasing and going into details on how Honda operates. He also never spoke down about the Ford I had and was willing to work with us on the trade. Kevin McGirt was great also and was not pushy at all. I purchased a Honda Civic this week from Bryan Honda. Overall it was a good experience. The sales representative, Clifton Oates, was great. He was very courteous and helpful. He gets a five star rating from me. The reason Bryan Honda gets a four star rating instead of a five star rating is their sales manager. I did not get his name, it might have been Kevin McGirt. I did my homework before I went into the dealership and knew the trade-in value of my current car and the dealer invoice on the car I wanted to purchase. The sales manager tried to low ball the trade-in by over $4500 and also overstated the price of the new car I was trying to buy. This guy was unscrupulous and the dealership needs to get rid of him if they want to improve their image. He gets no stars and a thumbs down. The finance manager, Romie Hawthorne, was very efficient and professional. He talked me through the financing and explained everything. He also gets five stars. I am also pleased with the follow up after the sale. Clifton Oates has called me to ensure that I am pleased with the purchase and that I am not having any problems. I just recently purchased a 2008 keep grand Cherokee Laredo from Bryan Honda, and my over all experience was not what I had expected by any means. I worked with Taylor shackleford. He was very knowledgeable about vehicles and isn't in the business of pushing you into a purchase that isn't going to be in your best interest. He started of by introducing himself win a firm handshake and positive eye contact which is a lot harder to come by now a days than you would think. I had a very specific type of 4x4 SUV in mind and a specific price range in mind. The vehicle I chose happened to be a little more than I anticipated on spending, but when I realized the actual value of the fully loaded jeep I was sure that it was the right move for the safety and security I was looking to get for my wife. Bryan Honda is a great auto dealer is every aspect of the term great. They are extremely focused on providing the customer with a pleasant vehicle buying experience, all while keeping the prices of their vehicles within the lower end of 10% market value. All in all I will aim this up by saying that I intend on spreading positive word about not only the Bryan Honda dealership, but Taylor as well. I couldn't have asked for a better end to the day after the 12 other dealerships that I had shopped with earlier in the day. More
