NEW **WARNING** make sure you don't get ripped off as I did. The dealer did not honor the TruCar internet deal. Added $2995 worth of dealer options (actual worth $500) on a Honda Civic EX without my consen did. The dealer did not honor the TruCar internet deal. Added $2995 worth of dealer options (actual worth $500) on a Honda Civic EX without my consent. The GM reluctantly gave a 50% reduction on the dealer options after he spoke to the TruCar resolution team (The GM basically said , someone made a mistake and did not add accessories in the TruCar deal). What I was told was they (dealer) can add any option to the vehicle, price it and the customers have no option but to pay for it. I had driven all the way from Raleigh to Fayetteville as we wanted a Black Honda Civic and the TruCar deal was great. I have lodged an official complaint with North America Honda. This was my last Honda purchase (sadly , yes I had to purchase it because my son needed a car). Yesterday, Honda lost a customer for life. Note: Paul White in sales who assisted us is a great guy and tried his best. Rest of the staff was wonderful as well. More
