We went to Bud Brown after checking Cars.com. We were interested in the 2008 Rabbit. We worked with Jim McNeal. He was very good to work with. He wanted us to be satisfied with our purchase. It was a very enjoyable experience I had my whole family of 5 kids with me and they worked hard at making sure we were all comfortable and did their best give me a positive buying experience. The sales persons were nice and helpful, they didn't try to push the car they thought I wanted. The sales person that helped me first asked how the day was then asked what type of car I was looking for. Not to push the car they thought I wanted. The rest of the staff was polite and helpful. The only down side was the price of the car I bought, which doesn't mean much since I had a good idea of the cost before I went shopping. Overall experience with Bud Brown was very good. Really liked Brian Phillips' laid-back approach to sales, i.e. no pressure or phony lines. This, by itself, will draw us back to Bud Brown VW in the future. Through no fault of their own, we had to make an extra trip (72 miles) for some follow-up service. We were promised a fuel-fill-up because of this, but it wasn't done; nor was an upholstery clean-up done as promised. The VW beetle convertable caught my eye and since I was just waiting around for service to finish the van I went to look at it and Melissa asked if I was interested and when she gave me the bottom line price I became really interested and called the wife. We came back the same day and purchased the VW, it is replacing a 2000 Mustang that my wife has has since 2001, we will now save the Mustang for our oldest grandson. We did take it for a test drive and it was quiet and drove better than the Mustang, the color was perfect and the sales people were extremely helpful. We were not even in the market for a new car but the sales and service at Bud Brown are to good to pass up so we bought it. More

I really liked her low key approach. She pointed out all the traits/benefits of the Tiguan, answered my questions effectively, and worked very well with my husband in figuring out how to get the vehicle that I dearly wanted. She is very organized, and took us through each step with such ease, it was a fun. I was so happy and grateful to have her and hence, have my Tiguan! Missy also offered to let me drive the Tiguan for the afternoon. I was so blessed that she trusted me, as others before her had used excuses not to allow it. The people in the service department are also a treat. They are consistently kind, attentive, and very organized in their work. I truely enjoy taking my vehicle in for service due to their sunny attitude when you arrive and efficiency with your problem. One month after purchase, we had an accident. Jake took our case and guided me through the whole process, encouraging and directing what I needed to do. He tested our vehicle to document the damage, and did all the necessary paperwork to give the Insurance Company, even helping me with the details the adjuster had in mind. His goal was to help me get our brand new Tiguan fixed as new, which I wanted. He also researched a part order mistake, and took care of it honestly. His kind and professional personality made a stressful event, easy. I feel I can trust him to give excellent service at any time.
