Toyota has been our brand of choice since I purchased a Toyota Tacoma when we lived in Southern California. After relocating to the Yakima area, we needed a Toyota dealership to upgrade our transportation Toyota Tacoma when we lived in Southern California. After relocating to the Yakima area, we needed a Toyota dealership to upgrade our transportation. Bud Clary Toyota in Union Gap was the closest dealership. We helped one of our sons purchase a RAV4 from that dealership and were impressed with how the deal went. So we felt comfortable going there. In 2023, we leased a 2024 RAV4 Hybrid. We loved the car and the way it was serviced during the lease. So when the lease neared completion, we decided to step into a new RAV4. The salesman we worked with found us the car we wanted, in a color and trim we liked. We've been in our 2026 RAV4 Hybrid SE for about a month. The car is great, and our experience with Bud Clary Toyota has been great, as well. If you are looking for a new or used car, pickup, or truck, do yourself a favor and go to Bud Clary first. More
Jed does such a great job! I am so happy with his service. The unfortunate part is that when your service man is not there, they don’t seem to value you. I felt dismissed “it will just be a minute” which turns into 20-30 min wait while someone sells something or they make calls. I am here right now spending money, please consider taking care of me first. Then attend to potential clients. More
Everyone was professional! While only a LOF service they got my vehicle in on time and completed about ten minutes ahead of schedule. I will be going back to this dealership! Called to have them look at it and they were going to charge over $100 to just look at my car let some extra charges to fix their mistake. Accidents happen, however, to charge for something I didn’t cause is ridiculous. Took the car to commercial tire and had a wonderful FREE experience. They fixed the problem, explained the weights had come off and corrected it. More
I bought a brand new RAV4 from the dealership with an extended warranty and every time I go in for service they try to upsell me hundreds of dollars worth of service. I should not have to pay for. I am extremely disappointed with the service department at Bud Clary Toyota. During the purchase process for my 2026 Toyota Tacoma, a rattle in the sunroof was identified during the test drive. I made it at Bud Clary Toyota. During the purchase process for my 2026 Toyota Tacoma, a rattle in the sunroof was identified during the test drive. I made it clear that I would purchase the truck once the rattle was repaired. The service department claimed the issue had been fixed, so I proceeded with the purchase. Unfortunately, the rattle was not fixed. Since then, the truck has been back to the service department four times in less than three months for the same issue. The repeating theme has been that the technician claims they are unable to reproduce the rattle, and I am sent home without the underlying problem being resolved. At one point, the technician decided it was necessary to drive my truck for more than 40 miles in an attempt to reproduce the noise. After that drive, I was told the rattle could not be replicated. I have provided multiple videos with audio clearly capturing the noise, along with my own diagnostic observations about where I believe the sound is coming from. Despite all of that, the effort to actually diagnose and resolve the problem has felt minimal. I understand that intermittent noises can sometimes be difficult to reproduce. What I do not understand is repeatedly returning a nearly new vehicle to the customer without making a meaningful attempt to identify the source of a known problem—especially when that problem was identified before I even purchased the vehicle. At this point, I would expect the service department to take a more methodical approach: inspect the sunroof assembly, drop the headliner if necessary, look for loose components or evidence of repeated friction or impact, identify likely sources of the noise, and systematically eliminate them. Simply stating that the noise could not be reproduced is not a diagnosis, nor does it resolve the problem. The customer service surrounding the first service visit was equally disappointing. When I dropped the truck off, I received no meaningful communication from the service department. At the end of the day, I went to pick up the truck and had not received a phone call from anyone regarding its status. When I arrived, nearly all of the technicians had already left for the day. The one technician who remained had no idea that my truck was there, was unfamiliar with the service being performed, and did not even know where the keys were. This was not his fault so I do want to thank Jedidiah for his help. He was kind and understanding. I was essentially left standing there trying to figure out what was happening with my own vehicle. I later learned from the service advisor that they had supposedly been experiencing problems with their phone system and were unable to complete a call to my phone number. If the dealership's phone system isn't working, the obvious solution is to use a different phone. Call from a cell phone, another department, or any other available line. Simply failing to communicate with the customer is not an acceptable solution. Because of the lack of communication and basic planning, I was nearly left without transportation and potentially walking home. This wasn't simply an inconvenience—it demonstrated a troubling lack of communication, troubleshooting, and consideration for the customer. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with both the ability and willingness of the service department to diagnose and repair this issue. I purchased a new Toyota expecting a certain level of quality and service. Instead, I have repeatedly brought a nearly new truck back for the same unresolved problem, provided video evidence of the issue, and received little more than "we couldn't reproduce it." I hope Bud Clary Toyota takes this feedback seriously. Customers shouldn't have to diagnose their own vehicles, provide evidence of a problem, and repeatedly return for service while being told that nothing can be done simply because a technician didn't happen to hear the noise during a particular visit.
