The Bait: Internet sales rep Letty Ulloa promised me an out-the-door price of $37,000 for a CR-V Hybrid Sport-L. I explicitly confirmed this price for this exact model multiple times through text, email, and over the phone. 2. The Switch: The second I arrived at the dealership, they claimed it was a "communication error" and completely changed the quote to a much higher price. 3. I eventually purchased the car, but when I received the official Honda customer satisfaction survey, I gave them the lowest possible rating and explicitly called out their bait-and-switch pricing tactics. 4. The Bribe: The very next day, the Sales Manager called me directly. He offered me a complimentary 3-year maintenance plan if I agreed to change my survey rating to a positive score. 5. I agreed to this offer in good faith, updated the survey, and submitted a positive review as requested. 6. The Ghosting: It has been a month since submitting the survey. Honda Buena Park has failed to provide any official documentation or contract for the maintenance plan. I have tried contacting them repeatedly through emails and phone calls, and I am being completely ignored. I kept my word and updated their corporate review because I acted in good faith and trusted them. They did not do the same. Honda Buena Park is deceptive, unprofessional, and frankly, a sad place to be or work for. I feel bad for the people there. Honesty and trust are the bare minimum of doing business, even just as a human being. If they are being dishonest from the very beginning, how can I trust them with future maintenance or any of their promises? On a bright side, this is a good lesson learned, and a good story to tell. 😂 More

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at this Honda dealership. My family and I walked in specifically asking for a 2026 Honda Odyssey, and we even test drove the 2026 model. We told the salesperson we wanted that same car in a different color, and at no point were we informed that the vehicle we were actually purchasing was a 2025 model instead. Only after signing all the paperwork and checking the VIN later did we discover it was a 2025, not a 2026. When I brought this up, the dealership’s response was dismissive—they claimed “there was never discussion of 2026,” even though that’s what we came in asking for and test drove. What’s worse is that they said the “deal is done” and “cannot be taken back” simply because we drove off the lot, despite the fact that we were never told or shown that the car was a 2025 before signing. This feels misleading and unprofessional, especially given how much trust and money are involved in buying a new vehicle. I would caution anyone purchasing here to double-check everything before signing—apparently, what you’re told and what you receive may not match. More
