Went to go look at a vehicle with my mother on Sunday. I saw it and liked it. One of the agent was asking me if I liked the car and I said that it’s nice and that I will be getting this model. I wanted to know the price because I’m thinking to buy soon. So he calls another agent who is Korean so that it’s more comfortable for my mother to have conversation since she prefers Korean. Then the Korean man keeps saying, “He will do it very good.” And we both wondered what is it that he will be doing very good? Then we get sent to a desk to be seated. The Korean person disappears. And then the other agent asks us questions and then disappears. Then he comes back again and we’re expecting him to give us a price. But he asks some more information from us and then disappears again. And we wait awhile and we’re wondering what’s going on? Then he comes back again and give us things to fill out, takes the papers, and disappears. And we wait for a while again. When we were at Toyota, we didn’t have to fill out anything, after waiting just 5min, an agent just told us a price for a vehicle. But here in Buena Park Honda, why are they keep telling us to fill out stuff and they disappear so we have to wait? Then the Korean person comes back and gives a summary of a deal and suggested what to include. We got persuaded to included all the useless stuff. Then we get sent to someone else. It seemed as if they were trying to sell us the vehicle that very day. We were also unsure of packages included so we decided to come back next week with the decision. We wanted to take the summary paper to go home and see carefully what’s included and decide what to include after thinking carefully. But they say it’s illegal to bring that paper home. And then they give us discount. So we stayed. Everything went so fast. We were about to buy a car THAT DAY. We didn’t even have a parking space planned for a new car, I didn’t even have a check ready for my down payment. And I couldn’t go to a bank to get a check because it closes early on Sunday. Then this Korean agent lady tells me to call the bank to increase the daily amount in my account so they can charge my card. I asked, can we just come back next Tuesday and make the down payment. And she says we can’t and only today will be a good deal. We stayed in the Honda building for 6 HOURS. Keep waiting and filling out stuff, waiting again and filling out stuff. We didn’t plan for this. We were so tired, hungry and thirsty and sometimes we couldn’t go to the bathroom because we didn’t know how long it was going to take for the disappeared man to come back. And my bank was being difficult to increase the limit. And when I finally got the limit, it was declined. So I called the bank again and they were being difficult again. And at that point I’ve had enough. I could see these Honda people were keep on trying to keep us here and buy a vehicle this very day. I wasn’t even happy to get a car because I was so frustrated and stressed from trying to figure all this out in just ONE day. We complained why they keep us here for 6 hours. And they say if you don’t like the deal, we can void it. So we said ok and left. We felt like crap and it was a waste of time. We missed all the other plans we had that day because of this. but I will take it as a very expensive lesson. If they say this deal is only for today, don’t believe it. And do not try to figure out EVERYTHING in one day because of a decision they want you to make on that same day when you’re not even ready. Good thing we left because we forgot that we didn’t even have a parking space to park a new car. If we get the new car, where were we even going to park the car during this dark night on Sunday at 6pm??? plus other etc of things we didn’t prepare that is going to make our whole night difficult as it already made our whole day difficult. We didn’t come to buy the car, we came to look at a car to decide if I want that model or not. At least I decided I want that model. Anyways I don’t ever want to go back to Buena Park Honda ever again. More
