I always had great service with BP Honda. They are responsive, on-time, and easy to work with. However, I experienced my first 'issue.' I brought it in for a factory recall with the fuel pump. When I picked up the car, there was a horrible gasoline smell inside the car. I called my Service Rep and she explained the smell would eventually go away and that this occurs at times with a fuel pump change. The smell did eventually go away but I did not feel well for about 24 hours. They needed to air out the car before I picked it up. I'll let the dealership know about my experience. More

Since the pandemic, Buena Park Honda seems to have cut the number of advisors and may be mechanics. Twice already when I pulled in, it was at least 10 minutes before someone acknowledge you. They put a cone on top of the car and you wait another 10 minutes before an advisor comes out, this is in the lane for cars with appointment. No instruction or interaction at the mean time. I went inside to ask since I thought having an appointment means something. I was told about 2 1/2 hours wait for the work. 3 hours later, I approached my advisor and she said she would check. It was over 4 hours by the time I got out of there. I was thankful though that they washed my car without my asking them. But I also saw multiple advisors male & female and mechanics wearing their mask below their nose. The restroom was not well maintained either too. The thank you for your service email still contained the name of the manager who has left more than a year ago who I personally knew. In other words, details are not attended to. There were no sense of urgency or immediacy of customer service. I saw at least 1 advisor trying to hustle but not everyone. If you told a customer an estimated time the work would be done, true service means you follow up & let them know it will be possibly xx longer. People are reasonable, but communication is important! May be they need a lesson on "Strive for Excellence" form the top all the way down. More

My service was great! Employees were polite and helpful. Employees followed CDC guidelines and wore mask and used protective equipment while servicing my car.
